Bad first: My machine stopped working yesterday. I don't know what to do without it. My DH is trying to fix it, but I think the problem is in its computer system :(((( I feel so upset about this:((((

Good news: I'm an Aussie now!!! I just got the immigration letter granting me the Permanent residency in Australia. It means, no charge for ambulance anymore, help with my medical expenses, and I'm eligible to have government help for upgrading my certificates and able to work!
On the other hand, I don't feel as happy as I thought I would be. It should come when I was healthy and could work. I hope I can get some benefit for that, my doctor gave me last week, a letter saying that I'm not in conditions to work.

I just wanted to let my family knows my latest news, and say thank you for everything you are doing for me.
Your prayers are powerful, and I'm sure I'll win this battle with my depression and brain surgery.

I still haven't heard from the Gold Coast hospital(bigger hospital with more equipments), although my current doctor wrote in a referral for them that was an emergency. I hope they know what they are doing.

I miss you all, but I'm not prepared to come back to Cute yet. I've been on doctor once a week and counselling twice a week. When I feel that I'm emotionally strong, I'll be back :)

Dear cuties, I appreciate your thoughtfulness, your love and ongoing prayers.

Love and hugs,
Yoriko

Yoriko, We all miss you very much. I am glad that you have been able to continue with your Embroidery habit and hope that your machine will soon be working again. We would all love to see some of the " new stuff" that you have been working on for yourself. Would like to see some of your own creations in Projects! I also have a machine down! It is the one that I like the best and the only one that I can download to a floppy from my computer and then carry the floppy to the machine. My designs are down to only the memory cards right now. I feel lost without my "stand-by" machine. It will sew but the bobbin thread is coming through to the top and the stitches are UGLY! I have done everything I know to do except take it to the "machine doctor"! Every design I really need right now is on floppy disc or stored in my computer and I have no way of using them until machine if fixed! Right here at Christmas is a very BAD time for it to mess up! I know how lost you feel with no way to sew! I sure hope it is not a major problem for yours or mine! You continue to take good care of yourself and try not to get too stressed about the machine. May God bless you and hold you in his loving arms! Linda

Hopefully, you are feeling well, today. I'm also with the SiCK bunch on that site. We are continually praying for your recovery. I wish you would give us an update on how you are feeling. You are so far away from us, by land. And, yet; so close in our hearts. I'm praying for your happiness, your son's well being, and your recovery from this dreaded disease.

Dear Yoriko, I am so happy to hearThat you are now a permanent resident of Autrailia. This should take some of the strain off you financially. I know that there is still alot more but this is at least a little help. Now we have to pray that they get you in the hospital fast so you can get completely better because I feel that once you have the surgery the depression will be less.Sorry about your machine. I will be thinking about you & praying for you. Arlene

Yoriko, Congrats on becoming a new citizen in a new country for you. :) It sounds like you have already made some friends with some "local" cuties. :) I wish you the best. Even though I don't know you and I'm new here, since I first saw one of your post requesting prayer, you have been on my prayer list. You will continue to be in my prayers for your emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. All three have to be in one accord for you to be strong. God loves you and so do many many of us here at Cute.
I sure hope your DH can fix your machine. There is always a reason for things to happen. So look at this in a positive light and think of it as a mini vacation. LOL....

Congratulations on becoming an Aussie, Yoriko! Regarding your machine, did it just not want to turn on? Maybe it's a simple thing like a power board or cord -it happens. It's annoying when our 'toys' don't want to play with us. I usually think mine want to make me do housework if they don't go properly :( Spring is just around the corner now and it will hopefully also put a spring into your step, along with getting everything else attended to.
All the best wishes,

First of all I am sorry to read that your machine is giving you some grief. I hope your husband or a technician can sort it out for you.

Secondly, congratulations on being accepted as Permanent resident in this great country. Don't worry too much about so happy about it, once you are feeling your old self again I am sure you will be rejoicing.

I keep you in my prayers every day Yoriko and hope that there will be a wonderful outcome with your brain surgery. Hang in there.

Yoriko, great to hear from you. Welcome new Australian.....
I think though you will still need to pay for the ambulance unless you are on full centrelink benefits or have an ambulance insurance through a private medical fund. It is only a minimal amount but well worth it. I live within 3 km of our hospital and the bill was $750. Thankfully we are in a fund so did not have to pay. Hope you can get your machine up and running again.

Love back to you Yoriko. So glad to hear you got your immigration straightened out and understand that you thought you would feel happier but it takes time to adjust and you have a ways to go yet. Keep following your doctor's orders and we hope you will soon feel well enough to join in the conversations here. Hope your machine gets fixed soon because you depend on it so. Hang in there and feel better soon. Hugs, Debra
