What kind and size needle did you use?
Believe it or not, I actually used a regular size 11 embroidery needle. But I must say this was a thin denier.
Terre, you are very clever and made the design very nice ******
You have done a neat job with the bat design & lettering. *
Terre, this 4 year old young man is going to love his batman backpack with his name on it. Was it hard to do?
Reva, it took some time to center it, and patience to hoop it. hehehe...Not sure I'd do them for a living though. hehehe.
Batman... boy do we love Batman.. great movie tooooo.. great job.
Great job Terre - I bet that you make Pearson a very happy young man.
The funny thing about this, is I went by the colors it called for, and I'm not too thrilled with it, I should have stuck with the all black and white trim. :)
I think the fonts and colors are great. Good job!!!! but how did u manage to hoop the embroidered area? Do u mind sharing?
Kind regards
Starlet
Starlet. I used a very thin stabilizer and pinned it to the backpack. I had to release the spring quite loosely on my hoop, and then center everything, then tighten it as much as possible. While stitching, I tried to keep it from drawing up by lightly putting my fingers around the area. I used my largest hoop for the emblem and the smallest for his name. I also had to rotate the designs to get them to fit right. Like I told Reva above, it took time and patience. I will say she loved it and paid me extra for it. :)
