I told someone the other day that, in a world of "spring chickens", I think I've become a "baking hen". (You cuties that are country gals will get this; everybody else, just laugh anyhow; it's therapeutic!)
Blessings,
Diane
Well, my hubby told me that he wishes that I would not worry about my hair. I used to pay a lot of money to have platinum hair, now it is starting to come in naturally. LOL My moter still did not have many grey hairs when she died at 12 days short of her 97th birthday. Bless her. I know how you are feeling - grandkids that are in their mid 20's, and recently married - now, that is scarry.
You are the hair style lady, get to work. What ever makes him happy!!I am totally gray now and i don't care. My sweetie likes it gray. You could tell him to wear a blue shirt.
Well thats one good thing about being blonde I guess...it doesn't show much...it just seems to get lighter....hehehe
I felt that way when my oldest grandson got married. My son his father doesn't have a grey hair on his head. (maybe he has his wife color it) Hi, hi.
Tell him to shave his head that's very popular with the men nowadays. Many of the actors do it and I must admit many of them look very handsome and verile.
We are only as old as we act!
I can not say feel because some days I feel 100 yrs old hahaha
So somedays I listen to loud rock music and do a little singing and dancing (in the privacy of my own home, I don't want to be carted off to the observation unit at the hosp.) hahaha
I found my 1st gray hair at age 19. And I am on my way to the hairdresser to get every gray hair colored. It is hard to be around people who range from late teens to 40s and be older and grayer. All I ask is too age gracefully. Yeah, right!
Maria, sometimes you make me laugh & sometimes you make me cry, you are a delight & I love you. I don't have as much gray as most my age & often get accused of coloring although I do not. All my girls have more gray than myself & color theirs. Personally I think gray is very attractive. *
Don't worry Maria - Grey looks great! I've been grey for about 3 years now and everyone says how much it suits me.
My mother, on the other hand has hardly any at 76. She has her hair coloured occasionally but even when she does you can hardly see any grey hairs.
I personally love grey hair especially if you've got a great hair cut!
Love and blessings Chris
I turned gray in my early forties, my mother did not have a single gray hair before she turned 70. So .. who cares. Well, actually I have had it dyed once or twice, but it's a costly business to keep it up and I guess I'm too lazy to bother.
Maria, tell him to "embrace the Gray" it looks fab on men... Although I'm starting to embrace my gray. I guess it's a good thing I love gray/silver hair. LOL
I know the feeling....I was dusting the other day and came across a photo of my hubby and me 10 years ago, wow what a difference 10 years can make......I've prayed for no more wrinkles, but apparently God has more important things to do (imagine that!)....ultimately I have to remember why I'm here, but I'd still like less wrinkles....Janet
Think of the wrinkles as "experience lines"....and I guess I got alot of experience...LOL.
;-)
Oh, Maria, some days you are the statue and some days the pigeon.....;)
Love your humor!
