LUCY, I AGREE WITH CAPOODLE. PERHAPS YOU SHOULD KEEP THE ANTIQUES AND MAKE THEM STORAGE ITEMS. SIDEBOARD MIGHT GO IN A LARGE BATH OR BEHIND A LARGE SOFA AS A SOFA TABLE IN MIDDLE OF LIVING ROOM. EVEN THE HUTCH COULD GO IN THE KITCHEN OR BREAKFAST AREA. SAVE THE CHAIRS FOR THOUGH OUT THE WHOLE HOUSE WHERE YOU NEED ONE. EACH BED ROOM NEEDS AN EXTRA CHAIR. BY ALL MEANS, DO NOT PAINT THEM. THE VALUE IS RUINED. THESE INTERIER DESIGNERS START PAINTING EVERYTHING!!! IF YOU STILL HAVE ANY POLYESTER KNIT, GET RID OF IT.YOU PROBABLY WILL NEVER USE IT.KEEP YOUR COTTON AND COTTON BLENDS OR YOU WILL BE UPSET WHEN YOU HAVE TO BUY SOMETHING YOU KNEW YOU HAD THROWN AWAY. WATCH YOUR BLOOD SUGAR! KAY
LUCY, HAPPY TO KNOW THAT YOUR MOVE WAS A SUCCESS, AND IS OVER WITH. HOPEFULLY WHEN THINGS SETTLE DOWN MORE FOR YOU YOUR BLOOD SUGAR WILL GO DOWN. YOU WILL BE IN MY PRAYERS. YOU TELL HUBBY IF HE TOUCHES YOUR FABRIC---YOU WILL GO ON STRIKE--NO COOKING--NO CLEANING--AND ETC. TEE HEE!! WISHING YOU MUCH GOOD FORTUNE WITH YOUR SALE. H&*.
GOD IS WITH YOU LUCY, LEAN ON HIM. CHANGE IS SO
HARD AND WITH THE HEALTH ISSUES THAT YOUR DH AND
YOU ARE FACING IT IS I AM SURE OVERWHELMING.
YOU ARE IN MY PRAYERS.
TURN THE KITCHEN TABLE INTO YOUR SEWING AREA AND
BUY SOME TV TRAYS TO HAVE MEALS ON IN THE LIVING
ROOM. UNLESS YOU HAVE A DINING ROOM THEN USE THAT
FOR YOUR SEWING AREA. I DO NOT KNOW HOW MUCH
FABRIC YOU HAVE, BUT IF YOU GO TO THE GROCERY STORE
THEY HAVE THOSE FLAT CARTONS THAT CANS OF SODA POP
COME IN, YOU CAN LAYER FABRIC IN THOSE AND COVER
WITH PLASTIC WRAP AND SLIDE UNDER THE BED,
DRESSERS, AND COUCHES.
LBROW HAD A GOOD IDEA OF STORING IT BETWEEN THE
MATTRESS AND BOX SPRING, ALSO BETWEEN COUCH
CUSHIONS MAYBE.
LUCY, HOPE YOU HAVE A VERY GOOD AND SUCCESSFUL YARD SALE. TAKE CARE.
Oh I wish I were near you. My husband and I love antiques. We're originally from Rhose Island. Lots of antiques there. I am so glad thst the move is over. Please reax a bit, and get through the yard sale. I am hoping that when you have gotten past the yard sale, that you will feel better and your blood levels will get better. Diabetes is so hard to control and stress makes it worse.
WELL LUCY SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE HAVINGSO MUCH FUN*N O T) SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE INSULIN SHOTS. WATCH WHAT YOU EAT, ESPECIALLY CARBS, I KNOW IT'S HARD WHEN YOU ARE SO BUSY. EASIER TO JUST GRAB A BITE HERE & THERE. KEEP YOUR FABRIC, BAG IT & PUT UNDER BED IF YOU HAVE TOO. i REMEMBER IN TIMES PAST PUTTING SOME BETWEEN MATTRESS & BOX SPRINGS(LOL) JUST TO HIDE & THEN FORGETTING WHAT I DID WITH IT.. I WISH YOU MUCH SUCCESS WITH YOU SALE. *
DEAR LUCY,
I DO HOPE YOU HAVE GOOD WEATHER FOR YOUR YARD SALE. I'M GLAD YOU STOOD YOUR GROUND RE YOUR FABRIC STASH - EVERY SEWING PERSON NEEDS SOMEWHERE TO PUT IT.
YOU MAKE SURE YOU DON'T GET TOO STRESSED ABOUT IT ALL - YOU NEED YOUR HEALTH. GOOD LUCK WITH GETTING YOUR BLOOD SUGARS IN ORDER.
LOVE AND BLESSINGS CHRIS
It would be good if you could repurpose your old side board and hutch and use it to hold your fabric and sewing supplies. I don't know how big the set is or your space but I would try to use it some how maybe even in a closet or hall. May you have good weather and lots of customers for your yard sale.
Lucy, Good to hear from you again. Sorry about your woes with the furniture...Do you have a consignment shop you can try to take it to? Stress will make your BSL go up. But 25 isn't high, I'm thinking you mean maybe 250? Get good rest and plenty of sleep so you have strength to finish your move. ;) Still praying for you. Hugs.
Sorry about your high sugar level, Stress and exhaustion are probably the cause for it.
Don,t get yourself sick over anything and allow youself time to get things sorted.
I have lived in the same home for 33yrs. There were 7 of us ( I have 5 children ) now there are 4 of us living here and even less room/space because I have filled up all the "empty nest" with sewing fabric, embroidery machine, yarn and Knitting machines.
So I would'nt know how to down size my belongings!
Please look after yourself, GOOD HEALTH is vital.
