Today I need to scrub down the house, but before I start...

Does anyone know an easier way to do shadow box quilt blocks????

Charming Station has a tutorial "Attic Window Quilt Project" on Yahoo if you are a member Deanna... also some verses - Those Who Sleep Under a Quilt sleep under a blanket of love - Blankets wrap you in warmth, Quilts wrap you in Love - A Bed Without A Quilt is Like a Sky Without Stars hugs x0x0x

You can get it there, but it's gone up a little bit. Go to the site below & type 'attic window' in the search box and there will be a couple links come up...I think you will find this is easier than trying to match up the seams. Let us see what you are doing!

I have a little tool that makes the Attic Window design by folding & stitching. It's easy & quick and you can use embroideried designs in it if you want. I have made ONE to see if I could do it, and that's as far as I've gotten! I think I just COLLECT things, not use them!! But it's called "What's Hiding In The Attic Window?" by Cheryl Phillips. Has the tool set included. I got it at a quilt show, but there is a web site on it. I'll go check it and see if it's there & add the link if it is. When I got it several yrs ago it was $12.99.

Great Question, Deanna. The link is the perfect answer. :) Is that what you are going to do with the quilts? That would be beautiful!

I wonder some too what all she has planned. With all the blocks I wonder if she will end up making 6 quilts instead of 3. Tee hee. H&*

Thank you so much for providing this link. It was good and made sense. I have eyed the shadow box designs and thought they were impressive.
