This little paper doll set is actually a "doll" that goes with another larger paper doll. But, I thought that it would be nice to stick in a card for Caitlyn. Maybe this will be just a little something different for her and something to pass the recoup time. I can not send it just yet, for I do not have the Tack it Over to put on the back of the clothes so that they can be taken off and on for a few times. The doll itself is only about 3" tall, and the clothes about 2" in length. I combined the designs and did all in one hooping, and put Peltex where the doll was to be stitched out - there was about 32,000 total stitches - but so many color changes - I think 35 or 36, but so cute and fun to watch it stitch out.

OH MY GOODNESS. I knew these little things existed but never tried them. How no idea the stitch count was so high. She is going to absolutely love these!

Well, these are very detailed. If you can look closely that little doll even has eyelashes. The stitch count was for everything, for I put all into my machine at one time. But for that size, yes, a lot of stitches. Thanks.

Wow... that's a lot of work. What little girl wouldn't love these. It's sure to take her mind off of unpleasant things.

This is adorable - Caitlyn will treasure her 'doll' - most little girls don't even know about paper dolls and this one got a special one made for her - she will pass away hours with it - I am sure. Great job!

You did a great job! she's cute and very small. Did you use peltex for the clothes? What kind of stabilizer did you use?

I use Peltex for the doll, and for the clothes I hoop organza with wash away/tear away stabilizer on top. This allows for the stitches to hold to the organza, and easier to take tear the stabilizer off of the finished designs. Then the cutting begins.
