Delete them. They allow other website to track your online activity (sites you visited) & you get spam from the other sites.
Thank you, I don't like being tracked, but I guess there's nothing we can do about it. You all have helped me understand this better.*4U
Those tracking cookies can slow performance so you can delete them if you want. Go to the folder that contains the cookies and pick out the ones you want to delete. Keep in mind that there are some that you need to keep. Don't delete those like from cuteembroidery.com and norton. It is those cookies that trigger the site to know who you are when you visit. I added an icon on my desktop for my cookie folder so I can quickly delete them occasionally.
McAfee has a free program that you can download to show you even more sites that they have tested. You can also submit sites to them for testing. Just because a site hasn't been tested by McAfee or Norton doesn't mean it is unsafe in all cases. It takes them awhile to get around to them all. I have been trying to get my website http://embroideryavenue.com/ tested for months and they haven't gotten to it yet. Untested sites when visited will often give you an alert from your security software. If that happens just exit immediately and don't open anything on the site.

Thank you so much for your reply. I think I understand a little more about "tracking cookies" now.*4U
From what I understand, cookies are a tracking device that allows certain websites to see where you go. If you accumulate to many it will slow your computer down. I use Avast (Avast.com) to clean my computer of cookies. It's free and I've never had problems with it. Hope this helps.
Thank you, I don't like the idea of being tracked! I think what I have, "Norton 360" will do the same as Avast. I just thought maybe there was a way to stop them, I'm not too smart with computers.*4U
