A great first! I had a look in my software and as far as I can see it promises to stitch out OK. I noticed you use the same fill stitch for the flowers as well as the stalks. Next time you might consider different ones or even use satin (column) stitch for the green stalks, but that's cosmetic and personal taste. Again, I think you did very well for a first! And isn't it great that you can make different arrangement of the flowers by cutting and pasting and get a different design? My software automatically set different colours, but
you know what I mean. playing with your designs is so rewarding. You set the points once and than only use cut and paste or auto repeat and hey presto, something new.
Have fun digitising!!

Oh Martine! It is beautiful. We were going to use satin stitch for the stems, but didn't like the way the stitching was around the curved areas. I haven't been able to get back too it. I've been busy stitching out the Ten Commandments for a children's church Sunday School...Thank you again! You are wonderful!Hugs, Terre

Thank you - a very pretty design. I think your measurements might be a bit out as the design is actually 95mm X 80mm :)

Thank you, we were just going by what the software showed us.

BTW did you try to stitch it out? Did you like it?

Thanks, it is pretty, if I ever get my machine working right I will try it out! Got a whitish filament bobbin thread, the lady at the embroidery shop inside Joann recommended it, she said it will work well with my Brother and that the other bobbin thread would cause my problem, well, that didn't fix it either and by the time I called Brother today they were closed! I can do FSL till Monday though!

Debra, you should receive the thread by Tuesday. Do you have a magnetic washer for your bobbin? Or the little plastic washers that take up a little space in your bobbin? Maybe that is the problem. It's really hard to say. Let's see how this does for you. Hugs, Terre

leenova54 by leenova54 27 Aug 2010

ummm, neither. My bobbins are the SA 15 so they are thicker (taller) than the L ones.
Thanks, I'll let you know when the thread arrives. The one I bought today is still showing but I am beginning to think I am crazy. I just did 2 towels and because I am working on white they don't show as much. Maybe this has been going on for a long time or maybe it is suppose to be like it is? I'll have to scan some stuff to show you and see what you think. I know that if I do letters, you can see the white threads cross the color thread.

This is a sweet little design. I'll try it out later today. The first design is always exciting, isn't it.

Alma, it was a lot of work. Not sure I understood it, my daughter went so fast, since she has done this many times... I guess I'm just going to have to point and click until I figure it out. I'm not sure I want to use the PE Design, or go ahead and try the Ambassador Pulse. We'll see. Thank you for the compliment. Terre
