click on something special? I tried clicking on the weekly specials logo on the side and I don't get the design that is advertised. Help please! Suzanne

For the MOC designs, yes you have to have signed up, but when a digitizer gives a sample of their wares on one of their pages, it is like any other free design-you can't share it, but can tell where it is. Perhaps to just give the digitizer's name and say they have new designs with a sample.

Firstly, for most gift designs you need to be a member of OPW.
Secondly it is frowned upon to give out links directly to free designs, BECAUSE, you are supposed to be a member to get free designs, AND you are normally required to search for them.

I believe they (OPW) may have put in some kind of protection so that when you copy and paste a link to such free designs, the link will only come up to a general area, this forces you to become a member to sign in and collect designs in the correct manner and not "through the back door".

And yes, I agree, anyone wishing to direct Cuties to free designs at OPW, should state what the design is and which Digitiser created it, but they should NOT post links directly to the free design as this defeats the whole purpose of having to join up and receive OPW's newsletter.

There are benefits and privileges to being a member, of any site, and it is for this reason most sites offer memberships and newsletters, so if you want their gifts you have to put up with their mail outs.

Personally, I love their newsletters and don't find them invasive like many other sites.

you are so right. Few days ago I write about a person who offers file-sharing in the comments of the alpha. This person is not a newbie and she did that 4 weeks ago and I wrote her that thsi is illegal. I get an answer from another cutie in such a rude and aggressive way that I nearly could understand Yoriko thinking about leaving Cute. Sad world...

I would really appreciate if they would at least add the digitizers. Or which site they are on. Or tell us what it is. I know you are to use the black numbers after the site connection, but that don't work for me. So mostly I don't get those. Which is a shame, because OPW designs are Great!!! Hugs, Judy.
