Good thinking came in handy to save the day. Good job. Love the ladybug one
They look nice. They do have beautiful designs on them so I think they are worth keeping. I think I have these designs somewhere as they look familiar. I might try stitching them out on organza to see if there is a better result with the outer edge.
Thanks for sharing these beauties.
I also have these, but have not got around to making them yet. However as pretty as they are, I think I'll pass. I delete any designs there are problems with, it's just not worth my time to have to patch something whether it's free or purchased. Of course when purchased we can always contact the digitizer and hopefully they will make good their work. If not, I don't purchase from them again. :-)
You did a great job!!

This is the page of the bookmarks. She has a lot of Lace Designs, but I just haven't gotten around to them, yet. LOL
Hope this helps.
They turned out great, too bad you had to redo the outline, but it's something I've had to do too with some designs and I'm glad it can be done easily with straight lines.
Those are very nice. That is the problem with free designs, sometime they aren't quite perfect. Have had the same problem with other designs.
You have done a lovely job, they look beautiful.
I had similar problems a while back. I watching the way the thread was pulling as it came from the spool and rigged up a mini thread stand so it lifted rather than pulled from the spool and I haven't had the problem since.
The designs look like they are from http://www.eddydesigns.com/
I went and looked for them, didnt see them there. They were free I know that much. LOL
What lovely, lacey bookmarks you've stitched& these colors are so pretty.I'd had the same problem with a few bookmarks& a lady at the sewing store suggested a smaller sized needle(70)would work well for lace. Thanks for sharing your projects.:~D
Thank you. Taking them out of the hoop, and going around them with the zig zag didnt take long. then I rinsed them out.
