Up date...We are getting the bands of heavy rain now and some winds. The worst is yet to come tonitebetween midnight and 3am. The hurricaine has been downgraded a lot and we are LUCKY!!! Max winds are going to be 70 MPH now Good news for us. I can sleep better tonight knowing we are lucking out with this storm. We will still have flooding problems but that is the least of it. Tomorrow is another day and they say we will see the sun and this hurricaine will be just a memory.
Thank you for all the good thoughts and prayers I really think the work! Suzanne
My prayers for you. I have family and friends in RI and am concerned. I know that there is still cleanup going on from the flooding last spring. Be safe and let us know how you are as soon as it is safe.
yep we are still cleanning up from the floods. But we are tough and will get through it all. Thanks Suzanne
I will pray that everybody there in your surounding will be safe.
For us it's so far away - we are lucky ones.
Years ago we have a flood - it seams to be like the hurricaine - horrible, we were helpless.
It's in God's hand - he is the one can make you feel safe and care for you to be safe. This is my prayer tonight.
God bless you
Bärbel
Be safe. Praying that all is well with you and your family.
Hope that everything is OK unplug all your appliances specially your Baby, this is a good time to finish some hand sewing projects. God bless you all.
Suzanne, please be safe. Don't stay on your PC - that is the worst during a storm like this one coming. Take care of you and your family.
I unplugged my PC and just working with the batteries. Should be good for awhile its fully charged. Thanks Suzanne
Praying the weather will calm down and you and your family will be safe and protected.....Janet
BE SAFE! I think everyone has dodged a bullet so far. Hopefully it will not get any stronger than the 'one' that it is now.
Oh, and don't forget to unplug your "baby", you don't want lightening to take her out.
Already way ahead of you. Can't let ANYTHING happen to that or my new serger. Thanks Suzanne
Hi there - it's Friday 19h40 in RSA - spring on our doorstep - but cannot stop thinking of you - you're in our thoughts! Trust that you will be well. Keep safe and keep us posted.
It's a good time to work on getting projects ready to embroidery, or to finish up hand sewing. Don't try to embroidery, the electric might go out in the middle of a project. Enjoy the weather and stay hunkered down and be safe. I'm a Florida native and have been through many storms. Safety and being prepared are the main issues---make sure you have plenty of drinking water. We always filled up the tub to have water to flush the toilet if needed.
Yes We are all pros at these storms And we are all hunkered in for the duration. Thanks Suzanne
