I am making aprons for the ladies at my church that serve the dinners. They will have scripture verses or a cute saying on the front. This one says PRAY OFTEN. The bottom is two large pockets. I copied this pattern from an old apron that I already had. The trim is homemade bias.

Nice job. it is hard to find bought aprons to use for blanks. how much time do you think you have in making the apron without the embroidery?

making the bias takes a couple hrs. cutting it out, sewing the ends together, then ironing it. Putting it together after that is finished takes about on hr. Thats the easy part ! I have made a few with purchased bias and it goes a lot faster, but it is expensive.
