TIP - my software allows me to add tags to multiple designs at one time. This is when I place the name "ie: CuteEmbroidery" in the tag so I don't forget where the design came from before filing.

I'd like to know what that software is too, dragonlace. And thaks for the tip, freida, I'm getting so many designs I have to re-organize them. What a wonderful stash to have, I'll probably never get to them all, but I love looking anyway. Merry Christmas, one and all. Marji

Dragonlace, I too would like to know what software you use.

Wonderful idea. Though I haven't seen any software like that. I make a new folder for each group and then then a second folder for type: ie: CuteAlphabet and then CarnivalFont.. you get the idea. I also copy zip multi format files to a CD for backup. Then unzip and save only the format I use for my machine. It puts everything at my fingertips and I have a copy should I ever get a machine using a different format. Just a thought. Freida
Oh, almost forgot. Merry Christmas to all

If you don't mind my asking, what software do you use? This sounds like a lovely thing to be able to do. I just have been filing all my designs in folders based on where I got them.

Great idea! It surely must make it simpler when you are looking for a specific design.
