OH I do so relate to what you say. My get up and go, got up and went months ago and for the life of me I can't seem to get motivated to do things, but when I FORCE myself to start I actually don't want to stop and I do manage to accomplish heaps.
Maybe it's just the thought of having so much to do that stops us from getting started, it is so overwhelming because we don't have the same energy that we had when we were younger and we sometimes struggle to do the simplest things.
Well, tomorrow is another day and another opportunity to get up and go do something, ANYTHING! LOL!!!
Hugs n roses, Meganne
Every morning I wake up with great plans of what I'm going to create on my machine, then I sit down at the computer with a cup of coffee and start reading all the Cute messages for the day and my sewing seems to go out the window! Can't seem to be able to get my big fat bumm out of this chair and into the one in front of the machine! I think my 'get up and go' left me a long time ago!
I feel your energy drop, I too want to do but cannot get going, almost everyday I say I am gonna hit the machine and get going when I come home from work. Instead I sit at computer and TV and do not get to the emb machine. I think we need a kick in the rear and or whatever to get going. Once I do get going I cannot stop. Strange isn't it. If I could not work I might get more emb done, but if I don't work I cannot support my emb habit. LOL
Oh my goodness Fiona, I think we must all join this mojo club. Hope energy in bundles reaches you soon, and you get lots done. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
Hugs and God bless
Marietta
I also love to get some energy in BUNDLES. Then I can go on with all this work. Love Marie
I feel the same way, but I am slowly finishing one project then another. But I am still overwhelmed, so we will just be overwhelmed together.
Glad that you are motivated now. Do 1 thing at a time, complete it and then get on with the next.
How is the digitising come on???
See you Friday.
Hugs Yvonne
Sometimes if you just think about doing one thing at a time, do it, and go on to the next,do that, etc, it seems a little easier than trying to get everything done all at once. Good luck.
I completely know what you mean!!! Mothers in the nursing home with broke arm while in there she fell because the wheel chairs brake was not catching. Husband died after 3 weeks of being sick. Found out he owed IRS and a bunch of credit cards. Yes I also am totally overwhelmed. BUT I have always heard GOD does not put more on your plate than you can handle. I think HES testing me. But I totally feel for you!!!
I keep telling my mom that I am TIRED of being tested and that frankly I will put up with my personality as it is!!!!
Obviously He doesn't agree with me yet!
Hee hee.....
