Here in Australia it was the 11th yesterday and our TV and radio newservices noted the day with much respect. Today (12th here) was also mentioned on the news. RIP. for you
It was on my mind for the whole of yesterday. So many of you Cuties are Americian and I am sure that you all must have known someone that was killed or injured in that terrible tragady. It must never be forgotten. I cannot even think about it without tears welling in my eyes. Sarah (South Africa)
Will never forget! My son called me as the news was breaking and said, "What the F@@@ is going on?". Could not believe this happened on our soil!
I can never forget. My husband was stationed in Korea at the time. I was teaching. How can you take care of students when you see the Pentagon in flames. I had been living at Andrews Air Force Base less than3 months before. I still get upset because it was so close to me. I had ties to all 3 sites that were hit. I am so thankful that no one I knew had been killed or injured that day.
It still makes me cry. The world suffered an unfathomable tragedy that day 9 yrs ago. I pray that all of the younger generations keep this alive in their future generations.
I still remember the assassinations of JFK, MLK, and RFK.
I remember the stories my father told me about WWII and the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
Always remember the thousands of innocent lives lost on that day and NEVER Forget Evil is still walking amongst us.
you are so right. I remember them all too. (Well not the WWII part hehehe), but I've been to Pearl Harbor. My dad served the last of WWII, Korean war, Vietman twice... Thank goodness he retired before the gulf wars and such... But this is no different than the wars. This was just as senseless as the others who were so selfishly wanting to rule. There will come a day when we won't have war here on earth, but I'll be in my "Father's House" by then. :)
