got last year for me to embroider for Halloween for her. So, after about 3 hours of "straightening" the sewing room, I found the shirts. So, okay, now I can get busy. Wrong! I set everything up to do the shirt, but the thread did not like my machine today. So after taking things apart, cleaning the machine, and trying all again, I got that shirt done. But, industrious me - I thought that I would do one of the Criswell 3D angels while it was stitching. I was so careful when putting the organza to the back - even used the adhesive spray, which I normally do not do. Yep, you guessed it. One of the organza pieces got folded over, and there is no way to take out all of those stitches without messing it all up. So this little angel will be unique. Ok, on to another project. I decided to assembly the TP cover that I have been working on. That was a BIG mistake. I took all of the stitching out, removed some of the batting, and tried again. Not a good day for me. So, I quit! I will post all of my boo boos over in Projects in a bit - have to have a cold drink of water, and unwind. I really feel that I should have stayed on the sofa today. LOl Thanks for listening to me rant. But I think we all have days like that.

ok honey here's my take on the problem. there is an alter universe hovering just above ours and sometimes if you hiccup the worlds switch. There fore you can't find things, things don't work right and nothing seems to be where it should be sooooooo all you need to do is either A) put on your jeans climb on your harley and take a ride, or B) pour a big cold glass of your favorite wine (my is plum wine - japanese - yummy) plop in your favorite chair and do nothing but giggle over the mishaps or C) GO SHOPPING FOR FABRIC!!!!!!!!! *hope all gets better soon*

Oh no, that must have been an awful day for you dear one. I hate hearing that after all this time - you get into that room to finally get some sewing and you have such a awful time of it. I hope you had a nice cold glass of water and the day went better for you. I will look for your boo boo's.

I also ruined a garment yesterday. My thread got caught on a piece of plastic of the reel - broke the needle and made a huge hole. Oh well!!!

don't you just hate that? I am always afraid of making holes in the projects - especially if someone else bought the items to be embroidered. LOL

I feel your pain. I am sorry you had to deal with all those problems in one day. It's bad enough when one thing goes wrong but when it continues to go wrong you begin to wonder who has it out for you. Here's to better sewing tomorrow! Maybe a cup of green tea instead of the water, don't listen to me, I hate tea, coffee and whatever everyone else drinks, I have a reusable bottle of water with me at all times and rarely drink anything else. So, here is a * and a :) and hope tomorrow is a better day!
