Hi Reggie, we would not have had the pleasure yet, but my name is Alice and I have just become addicted to cute, I am also an Aussie and a proud grandma. I am sure we will have lots to talk about on cute.
welcome back. It sounds as tho your trip was fantastic. Your grandson sure is a cutie. Mary
Isnt Japan just the most marvelous place! we had a month there recently and didnt want to come home. I had to jetison some much loved clothes to bring home the fabric I bought, oh well the fabric was better!
Thankyou all for your thoughts & YES Sam is going to be a lady killer, we just found out he is going to have a new brother or sister in May next year, the parents just got married & of course this was a "honeymoon baby", I am thrilled but still worry as she is the breadwinner of the family, so don't know how they going to cope $$$$ wise. Anyway, they won't be getting rid of it as I have always been very strong about that.... If it's meant to be, it's meant to be!!
Sam has got his first top front tooth finally & the second is not far away, he is walking, holding onto furniture, so it won't be long now before he's running a muck.... literally.
Hugs,
Reggie
Grandchildren are such a pleasure ! I never thought that I could love anyone as much as I love my Grandson and you sound the same.He is just gorgeous. I have enjoyed every moment of my Grandson - both good and bad - especially when we tell each other that "You are the best Granny/Grandson in the world"
The other day I told hime that he was better than anything I could of dreamt of having and he burst into tears :-) Said it was the nicest thing that anyone had ever said to him. They only get cuter as they get older, he is 9 in
December. Enjoy every moment and take lots of pics 'cause they grow so fast. Alex is referred to by his uncles as MPG. This I finally discovered means "most photographed grandchild" Good to have you back posting.
Thanks for the update, it sounds as if you have been very busy. Which part of Japan did you visit?
How many outfits did the bride wear? The Japanese bride I saw and the one who's dvd that I saw each had 3 different outfits...
I went to the country area called Kure, it's about an hour from Hiroshima (went to peace park there... BOY what an eye opener!!!!) scary what humans can do. The bride wore 6 different outfits, they started with the traditional bridal outfit (white with hood) then went through kimonos to western style. The bride & groom didn't get to eaat as such (too busy getting changed & having different presentations) they actually went out with friends after & had dinner. The whole experience was unforgetable.
So glad you are home safe and sound - you have been busy and Sam is adorable.
Welcome home! And I'd love to smooch those adorable cheeks of Sam's! So go get a kiss for me!
Welcome back, glad you had a great trip. Your GS is sooo cute. Judy
OH, he is just too cute for words! His shirt looks great! What are you going to do with all that fabric you brought home with you? My son is getting married on Oct. 10th and they are going to Japan for a 3 week honeymoon. They spent 2 weeks in Tokyo last time but are going to a different area this time. I have no clue, not familiar with Japan at all but they love it. They met 10 years ago in Japanese language class in college.
Sounds like you have been busy for awhile. Hope all of you are soon feeling good again as the flu can zap away all of your energy! Sam is adorable, shirt is darling and that wonderful smile tops it all off! Sounds alot like you are still running, trying to get caught up on everything after the trip. Hope everything soon get back to normal again. Hugs, Linda
