Thanks! My machine can go for days without use and I have sometimes forgotten if I have changed the needle etc.,so I started a log book.I log in when I start and stop embroidering.I also make notes on patterns I am doing,needle changes,thread counts(so I can see how much I can do with one bobbin),and general notes as I go along.
I have referred to this several times already and I'm sure that it has saved me a few woes.

Great idea! I don't get on my embroidery machine as much as I would like because of my alterations business-but I think I just may "borrow" you tip Nadyne-thanks =O)
