It's a shame some people don't share recipes. I've had somesone "give" me a recipe omitting the secret ingredient. It shows low self esteem.what are they afraid of ? competition?
Anyway, I boil my frozen spinach with a teaspoon of salt, acording to package direction. Drain out water, add about 2 TBS. low fat sour cream, or plain yogurt. 8 oz. low fat cream cheese, heat until melted, add your favorite spices, salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc. To thicken it, you may add some grated cheese until melted. Enjoy! Sukiray
Ohhh - spinach is one of our favourite veggies now.
I don't cook it in water to safe all the taste.
We all have to live with low fat - so this is a delicate recipe for low fat.
I fry a lot of oniens in very less fat, oliveoil or any, then add smallcutted pieces of smoked low fat ham, fry it together untill it's a bit brown, is good for the taste.
then I add the fresh or frozen spinache, cover the pan and let it boil for around 15 minutes - according to the size of pan and volume, a bit open every now and then to let the water come out.
At least I add the "cream" - I use creamy cheese spread, we have it with 9% fat only, 1 pack, and sometimes a bit lowfat cream with 15% fat, some spices, pepper and what you like, some like also to add some soup powder.
For guests I add sometimes before serving some rasp holland cheese on the top, a bit melting under the heat.
Hope you like it and find "your spinache-recipef" to share with others.
I found many times this: If two person cook from the same reciep - it's a bit different in the taste because the persons mesure different.

I bet she does't have a recipe...she probably bought it and doesn't want you to know she didn't make it.lol
She can't bake Banana Bread, then she cooked the sinach for bananbread, for my daughter in law Love Marie.
I don't have a recipe for you, just a comment, She probably didn't share her toys as a child either. How silly to guard her recipe like that!
Google.> recipe creamed spinach. and then take your pick
Hi Marie, I just boil the spinach in salted water.
Make a cheese sauce , add salt, pepper, nutmeg and use butter when making the sauce. Then I add cream into the sauce to make it a little thinner. Drain the spinach and add the sauce.
Hope you enjoy.

I don't realy have a recepy but if you have your spinach ready you make with butter, flour and water a sauce. not to thin because there is always water out of the spinach. Ad the cheese you like(mozzerella). Mostly not to young, not to old. Mix with spinach and add some pepper and nutmeg.
Good luck, Yvonne
Looks like you got some good ideas. What a shame she wouldn't share her recipe. I look at it as a compliment when someone asks for my recipe and glady give it out. Carol
I feel the same as you. If I can share my recipes then I know they loved what I was cooking or baking. Love Marie
Perhaps there's copy rights. Only a joke but I could not resist. Enjoy the cream spinach.
I can see the joke in it. My DIL must bake some bananabread for her and then she cooked her cream spinach. Love Marie
The recipes shown are great just add fresh grated cheese on top. I use a bowl of ice water to stop it cooking.Taste better the 2nd day.
And she's no lady!I share all my recipes and I think of each person who gave me theirs as when I make the recipe they gave me. This way their memory lives on. Share, we can't take it with us and it will give people joy.
I type the persons name next to the recipe and the date. Lots of memories everytime I use the recipebook. Love Marie
The ones already posted all sound good but for a variation, try chopped broccoli in place of the spinach, really good! It's my Thanksgiving favorite!
