Cuties are one big prayer circle. There are many people on here who have been through a lot and understand more than you would believe. Take care of yourself. Maggieduck posted a chihuahua recently, she has it in 4 by 4 pes, it is a cute little one wearing a sweater. If you needed without a sweater she may help you. Check in designs by cuties, it isn't far into it, first or second page, then if it isn't quite what you want click on her name and from there you can PM her to see if she can help. She is a lovely lady, she is in Belguim.
Thank you, I found it in Pes. If I can't find one in filled, I will use this one. I think no matter what I do my sister will be thrilled. Again thank you.
Sorry this has been so rough for everyone involved. May God grant you peace and rest.
Dear Mary,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your sister. First of all take care of yourself. It can wear you out real quick being a caretaker for a loved one. I know it from experience. I wound up with a bad case of pnuemonia. They had to put me on on life support for 10 days, was coded twice, I was so weak that they had to send me to rehab to learn how to walk again. That was five years ago when my dear husband was diagnosed with non-hutchkins lymphoma and went through Chemo. He just went for another PET scan this week. It seems like he would need another clinical trial Chemo. He's on his fifth one. They keep coming up with new kinds of Chemo all the time. The only one he lost his hair was the first one. I think they call it Chop. That's the one your sister is getting.
I wish your sister well. Keep a positive attitude, and again, Take care of yourself. Your sister is lucky to have you.
Hugs and Blessings.
Sukiray.
Thank you so very much. All these prayers from all the Cuties have really helped not only my sister but me too. Sometimes late at nite I read and re-read what all of you have written and I cry and beg the Lord to listen to all those that are praying for her. She gets cranky at times not w/me but with her husband and I tell her be nice, I know she doesn't mean it. It's all the meds and the fact that she is totally dependent on us for just about everything. I know that is devastating for her. We all have been so indendent so to have to give that up it is just heartbreaking to see. I'm not sure what you are refering to as clinical trial chemo. She just had 5 hrs. of chemo, this time they gave her Avistat and something to help her bones. Her cancer is in her bones, lungs behind her breast. She has a hole in her hip from the cancer eating away at her bone, she also has it in her shoulder, it started in her left side and about 3 wks ago the report stated it had spread to her right side. I spoke to her this morning and she said she wasn't feeling good but couldn't pin point why she wasn't feeling good. I'm hanging in there but I did need a break and it was great to see my hubby even if it is only for a week. I really needed to get my meds here on base too. It is too much of a hassle to get things transfered and then transfer them back so I thought it would be best to just take care of that. I will put you in my prayers that your husband gets better and I will include you in my prayers also. Take care of yourself, God bless and thank you. - Mary
Mary,
Thank you for your reply. I can feel for you what your sister and family are going through. I assure you that modern medicine has advanced. Every day there is something new. Different combinations of "soup". That's what my husband calls it. This is what they call "clinical trials". His doctor told him last week, there are 2 new ones out there, depends what the PET scan will show. We'll find out next week.
In the meantime, think positive and have faith. Give your sister a big hug from me. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Best wishes for well being. God bless you, your sister, and your family. Hugs, Sukiray
Suriray, thank you for such kind words, you too are going thru your share of pain. I have given my sister many hugs from those cuties have sent. When I get back to her I will need to give her several more. All you cuties have helped me so much, all the prayers, hugs, love have truly been heartfelt - thank you.
Mary, please let us know how your sister is doing. Take care and God bless you.
Hugs, Sukiray
Sukiray,
Yes, I will surely let all the Cuties know how she is doing. Everyone at this site have been so wonderful and have made me feel like they are an extended family. I will post an update after her next chemo. Thank you for everything.
