If anyone wants any of these purse handles i have found a source for them. They are 4.95 for elderwood, oak is 1 dollar more per set or plastic for 2 dollars more. Shipping is 3.50 per set but if you need more than one she will give you a discount on shipping. I don't want anyone to think I am advertising a site or making any money off of it. I just wanted to share the info. PM me if you would like more info. The ladys husband makes them in his shop and you can have as many as you need. Oh they also come with a wooden bottom.

Wow, I love the purse pictured on the link you provided! I can only wish I could make something that turned out so beautiful! Good luck with yours! Look in your classified section in the newspaper or a friend who does some light woodworking. If you sketch it out you might even check with the local high school if it has woodshop, maybe a student could do a couple up for you cheap!

Lots to choose from here. But not the ones I need. I'll keep looking or find someone to make them for me. I bought this purse years ago at a craft show and want to make more.

If you are close to a JoAnn's, use one of the 40% coupons, I like the handles but find them too expensive also. I use webbing, I buy 36" in the color to match (enough for two handles for over the shoulder). I also make 1/2" binding and sew down the middle of each strap, just makes it look more fancy.

I have searched Joanns but do not find this set. I found the pattern on ebay but have had no luck with the handles.

they are just a wood slat with 2 spaces cut out. Anyone know a woodworker?

I am not near a Joanns. We used to have one in town but when Michaels moved in they closed. The nearest store for me would be Dallas or Lubbock Tx. On line they don't have the ones I need. So I'll keep looking.

Also I would'nt mind paying 5 dollars a set but 10 dollars a pop gets a bit pricey.
