lately, as I have seen. Yvonne, have you heard from her lately. Usually no news is good news but this is not the normal with her. She is having a very hard time right now and I wish I could afford to call and talk to her but it is impossible to live very well off of disability. I spend my time struggling trying to just keep the necessities. I have not been able to work for almost 7 yrs now. Up until I had to leave my longtime job due to the illness, surgery and near death, I held down 2 full time jobs to pay the bills and live decently. I had to get rid of my craft store almost a year before I left my 25 yr job. During this time, my son left home and moved 3 1/2 hrs away to the Atlanta area where we both are now. He married a whole great big family when he did marry so I never see him and he does not help any because he has to take care of his wife's whole family, plus he had a heart attack 6 months after he got married. He has been out of the hospital for 18 months now and he is still paying hospital bills from the week he spent in Peidmont in Atlanta with the heart surgery to boot. He has not been able to keep a single promise to me since he forced me to move up here and give up my home, family and friends. You just never know what is going to happen from one day to the next!!! No one knows any better than I do how scared and upset Yoriko is about the hospital stay, surgery and not being able to work to help with the bills. It is scarey!!! I have had myself and the Lord to depend on since all of this happened.
Yoriko works hard and it always there for anyone that needs a kind word or even a design. She helps everyone that she knows that needs help. I am halfway around the world from her so there is not anything personal I can do to help her.
I hope that she knows how much we miss her and how much she is loved. I am glad that this labor of love, quilt is being done for her. No one could deserve a gift from all of us more than Yoriko.
Thank you Deanna for all of your hard work and your kindness to volunteer to finish the quilt. She will have a small bit of love from alot of the group that thinks so much of her. I do realize that some of the group members are not able to help due to alot of different reasons so the love and moral support she will receive before too long will be sent to her from the group as a whole. United we stand, divided we fall...(fail).
Yoriko, if you read this we all want youto know that you are thought about all of the time and any prayers have been said for you and that we miss you post here daily. Your embroidey work is still as beautiful as ever and we all appreciate you!
