I have more than 200 test stitch outs of all my embroidery designs and I want to stick them onto frabric so that I can cover up the garage door, in my studio. I am thinking of using craft glue as i want to be able to continue to add to it and I don't want to have to pull it all down to stitch things on. is this the best option or is there a better way?

Glue would do fine. If they are each stitched out on a square like you would use on a quilt, it would take more time but you could do a whip stitch or blanket stitch by hand if you wanted it to look nicer.

Saw a beautiful quilt used as a poster board type display. She used decorative pins to hang pictures, post cards, etc. She said she used the pins so that they could be rearranged and not damage the quilt. You could try something like that.

I don't really want to use pins, I worry about them dropping out. I had a a mishap with a needle in a carpet sticking in my foot once, it went in eye end first and I needed to have surgery under GA to get it out. very long story including car accident on the way to the hospital for the removal of the needle. so no pins that may drop out for me I am afraid. I am sure the display was fabulous though.

Is there a way to use velcro on the corners?

I had considered that, but I want to fix the fabric in place then continue to add designs to it.

If you are planning to make it permanent, then I suppose you can use glue. Since I move every few years I try to make things so I can move them with me. What about using a sheet to applique the designs onto. Or use fabric glue to stick the designs onto the fabric. Hope you post the finished project. I think it will be very interesting.

Yes I am planning on making it permanent, but that does not mean I won't be moving ever, I too move somewhere between 2 an 5 years.
