to make the Charming snowman on felt as ornaments. I thought of the snowman sitter on sewing for Sarah as the tree topper. We can spend no more than $30.

Thank You for your ideas!!!

Stack some Marshmellows and give it a face from chocolate and arms from broken pretzels.
Packed in foil you can decorate the tree with them, afterwards you will have a present for all participants, the old tradition of christmas loot.

Second link is for mor easy snowman ideas.

I am a school teacher and I make every year snowmen with my kids, I take white Christmas ornaments (cheap ones) and that is the head, we put felt eyes, nose and mouth with baby socks we make his hat and that is the ornament, they are easy and cheap. Also if you get white baby socks and filled them with beans, rice or whatever you want I like bird seed so we can feed the birds with our snowman, tied it to make his body and decorate it. they are cute and fun.

Talking in snow puppet, here is a puppets sample that I did at the Christmas of 2006.
It is all done with bottles bottoms Pet ( soft-drinks bottles). The structure is made in iron.

you could stitchout some FSL snowmen, you could put some milar on the back for extra shimmer, these you could then keep for yourself or give to your workmates

If your team mates have made snowmen with snow then they can make snowmen. I have never made a snowman with snow but I have with polystyrene balls from the craft shop, using 1 large & 1 small ball then paint on eyes or use buttons same for mouth or cut material & glued on. sticks for arms material for scarf hat & mittins and a stick shaped like a cone painted orange for the nose. Have fun. *4u all

Everyone had such great ideas! Felt with RW snowmen is so simple and cheap, you could cut the felt into mittens.

If you are a member of Charming Station's yahoo group, she is the home of free rw snowmen and sends them out periodically.
She has on her site the cutest snowman mitten ornaments for sale but reasonable. I have made quite a few on felt.
Here is the link to the snowman mittens. She also has fsl snowmen and a lot of snowmen things. I believe the link to join her group is on the home page.
It is worth checking out. Hope it helps!

Oh my gosh those are sooooooo adorable! Wish I had some money, only need the mitten pattern but I guess I could try and make one, I have some RW snowman designs from DBS when they are free.

Leenova-sign up for her yahoo group- she has 178 free rw snowmen free to download for members only. It's a great group, very helpful . The owner is GiGi McBreen and she is wonderful. She also has a pattern with snowmen to make mittens you can wear. I made some for my dgs for Christmas last year.
I used fleece and they are so simple!!! If you like snowmen, I highly recommend joining her group.

I bought the quick mittens and yahoo Group. That is where I got the idea of quick embroidery snowmen. We live in Fl so I put some of the warm weather snowmen in the mittens.

Well if they are not very crafty and they leave you to do it - have fun and should anyone complain tell them to do it. I am sure that if you put childrens snowmen christmas ideas or something similar into google loads of ideas for little kids will appear and be easy to make. Is this what you are after?
Anyway have fun and I look forward to see what ideas others come up with

Just thought that you could collect some packing polystyrene bits that look like snowflakes and thread them together and dangle them from the tree. Cut up bits of paper to look look snowmen or snowflakes... I am supposed to be doing some other work on the computer and this is a great diversion...

alexgrandma by alexgrandma 27 Sep 2010

I love that idea!!!
