Good Luck! I'm afaraid my resistance is running on empty! ;-)
LOL I can do this, as money is real tight and only designs I have been able to get for a while now is the free ones any way.
Wish I can do the same! But eish, when I see something that I might need later, it's too late!
I have ben on a diet well some kind of a diet all my life but this kind would only hurt so i will pass hA!HA!HA!carolyn
Good Luck - I bet you can do it! Just think about how much fun it will be to get 10 whole projects done! I never seem to have enough time in the day to get to all I want to do...
Thank you for your support, now to come up with a plan, ideas are churning in my head oh what will I do first. I'll make my list and check it twice, I'll line up supplies, I'll make notes. Decisions ,decisions.
My problem is I have all these ideas at night when I can't sleep, then I'm so tired the next day I don't know where to start!
If I waited to do them all beforeI got another design....well,I guess I would never get another. :-(
GOOD LUCK! I know you can do it until you see one you really have to have Suzanne
I don't think I could do that - with just a few months before Christmas ... But, I will try to pair down and continue to organize what designs I do have. I do wish you luck though!!! 4U*
Christmas is just around the corner could be advantagous for you by making gifts. You would have a good start. good luck. Hugs Lisa
You should not rely on me
because I do not drink and I do not smoke
the money should roll
lol
sorry for my english
Maggie
Not sure if I could last the distance - but it's a jolly good idea :) At least it gives one an incentive to get sewing.
I did try not to buy any designs for a month but I failed badly.
You certainly have more will power than me. Good luck.
YEAH RIGHT...LET ME KNOW HOW THAT GOES...HEHEHEHE
i CANNOT STICK TO ANYTHING LIKE THAT...
I do a design back-up once a week on a 1Gb memory card, and that is my way of trying to stabilize!! Often have to be very savage; but at least the deleted designs stay in recycling for a while....
Gasp!!!!...............but what if the set you've wanted for absolutely ever comes up????? What then??? What if you can't possibly live without it????
I like those three little words.... 'Freebies don't count'.... I wish you all the luck in the world and thank you for the invitation to go along for the ride but........ willpower was never my strong point so I'd probably be better off just watching from the sideline and cheering you on .... :}
AlmaG.
I'm in, too. I've been needing to do something just like this, and it'll be more fun with Cuties ! I'm trying to create my own more, and buy less, so this may be just what I need.
Should we come in and report if/when we fall off the design wagon ? Or just post how long it's been every so often ?
Of course, I just 'bought' several - with my winnings from an Embroidery Library contest ! So I should be good for a while, too.
Good luck, fellow Cuties !
Are you doing the 10 projects before you buy. Just keep a list of the 10 and let us know if you fall off the wagon. This can be done. Lets show them its possible.
Hehehe! Good luck dear - but if you get dizzy or are having to fight off the urge to buy - I guess you could just sit done and do all your projects at once and then you could buy the designs when you are finished. Have fun and keep on stitching.
Good luck. Do you know how hard it is to stay on a diet?
How about you put the money away that you feel like spending every day and save for something special that is not a design?
Well, Good Luck. I think you will need a lot of WON'T POWER.
Sure. I can join you, because I just bought a bunch from Secrets of Embroidery. Bet you can last longer than I can.
My last buy was from emblibrary happy hour. Got the 5 freebies also, really 10 with both sizes, so I am good for a couple of days.
I am on a diet anyway, what with my embroidery machine broken down. Still it's nice to spend a little time on the forum to keep me in touch!!
Mine is in the shop and i hope to have it back by next week. Then the challenge begins. It is always fun to come here to see what the cuties are up too.
This is good, keep us posted on how that works out for you.
design diet,no, irecently tried the cute diet (but i guess it is the same thing) because i really need to organise the designs i already have but the blessed curser just won't let me, it somehow finds it's way back here. LOL
Your addiction will take over. maybe there should be places we go to get detoxed. We go check in and embroidery all day. No Internet allowed!! Kay
First my vision will blur, hands start to shake, start sweating.Get dizzy. Will she crack under the pressure? No one has ever tried it but I could be the first. Maybe? or maybe not. Only 10 projects away from finding out. Stay tuned! LOL.
Ha, Ha, ha. Good luck. I would be afraid that a special sale happens.
Never thought of that! Too late to turn back now I have made a commitment. Cuties are placing their bets. Will she last at least one day? We'll see.
anyone willing to place a wager on this one....lol...I give you to 4 projects b4 you buy one..lol...Goodluck..but I have to say this is a really neat and challenging idea....
LOL. If I really ,really find one I just have to have I'll just have to make 10 projects in one day. With the holidays coming it might not be a bad idea.
Wonderful idea, just don't tell my hubby!! i'm not the one you want in your corner for ANY diet.
Awhile back there was a challenge going around to lose weight. Everyone got excited and signed up. There was a pretty long list of cuties. Anyone remember that? No one ever talked about it again. Is anyone still in that challenge. i did not sign up because i knew that it was'nt for me.
best of luck with your diet Bev. You are a brave lady to take on such a big task.
hugs Lee
My hubby would love for me to be on this diet for sure. Thanks for the offer to join you but think I'll pass at least this time around, as I'm already drooling for a few new designs. Good luck on your design diet. Be sure to keep us informed as to your progress. Have a blessed day.
Look forward to seeing your finished projects. You might just inspire us to create something.
Sounds a good idea. On this basis it will be an age before I buy again
There is just so much i can do and never got around to. Do I really need to buy just one more? My machine is still in the shop and diet starts as soon as I get it home.So for right now i will not cheat.
