I feel very humble and overwhelmed with the prayers and love that you have all sent to me with my knee - what a silly thing to happen.

I have to be honest that I don't remember EVER being in such pain and even 2 days on with it strapped up I am constantly bitting my lip! Funny how something silly like this reminds us how much we take for granted - making my own cup of tea, turning over in bed without wanting to pass out and even getting to the loo - 5 minutes before you even knew you wanted it - just cos it takes so long.
I would like to say Thank You to the person that invented crutches as it takes so much pressure off my very sore knee and then I would like to beat them with it as they have given me a sore back and very sore arms ! Isn't that typical of life???
I saw so much pain and misery when I was in hospital on Tuesday night that I have vowed to NEVER take my health and life that God has so graciously given me, for granted.
Thanks again for all your prayers.
And I am VERY greateful that you can learn to sew with your left foot !!@#$%^^&

Lots of love and prayers to you all

I am so sorry that the recovery is even more painful than prior to surgery. I can relate from my shoulder surgery. At first I regretted having the surgery, but now I have normal range of motion. Hang in there. When will you give lessons on sewing with your left foot. Oh wait a minute I will need lessons using my right foot. I might need these lessons since I have pain etc on my left side from my damaged spine.

Well Hop-a-long... hehehe.... I'm so glad you have a sense of humor with this, cause It can get very frustrating... Don't push yourself what ever you do, cause it WILL set you back...Oh and you will have to break in line to use the crutches on the man who invented them hehehehe.... I finally got the hang of it. You don't actually put them under your arms, but the side of the breast line about 7" under the armpit and use your HANDS to keep you up. Boy will it give you a workout. hehehe.... But of course if you are endowed like me, you might be able to use them for support. hehehe I will continue to keep you and hubby in prayer. Hugs, Terre

Fiona, we are so glad that you are doing so well - it seems hard to have to deal with the recovery process - but it does take time to heal - we will continue to pray for you and know we are here to support you via the Internet - in whatever way we can - keep on stitching, Shirlene
