Take a look at this FSL doily. I just love it and go back to the site off and on to look at it. It is so much like the ones my mother use to hand crochet. I just can't bring myself to spend the money since I would probably only stitch it out once.

This set is on my wish list but since I only have a 4x4 hoop the quilt at the bottom of the page is the one I'd choose. Soooo cute and I want to try quilting in the hoop. xXx

I love to many things like lace (hearts some free at ricky) but if I had to buy some thing I would like some of BFC the peacock or these fantasie ladies. But there is so much lovely stuff that I realy don't know,

Hi Kerry,

I just found the heart - it's from Anna Bove and it is a FSL one. Link below.

The other designs I couldn't separate between is the fantastic Japanese Geisha girls under the Cross-stitch section here on CUTE. They are simply stunning.

Love and blessings Chris

Hi Kerry,

I think my favourites are hearts in all colours shapes and sizes. I can't find the one I want so will have a look tomorrow for it.

In the meantime, I'm sewing a lace design by John Deer and as Shirlene says they are gorgeous.

It's 10.00 Tuesday evening here at the moment and I've just finished the fourth one! They are just glorious.

Love and blessings Chris

P.S. As you can see I've been watching the Commonwealth Games at the same time as I'm on here and the sewing machine is going. Yeh! Australia just won a heat! Geoff Huegill is one of our best swimmers. Come on Aussie, come on, come on!

Kerry, what a question - I haven't had any money to shop with lately - I should have a wish list - but it was too depressing to keep one - so I stopped. Hehehe! I will watch to see what you end up with here and have been wishfulling shopping from your answers - Hehehe! I hope your spirits are lifted soon and that you get to stitching up a new project to share with us. I saw some lovely lace on the John Deer's site: Adorabble Idea's that I would enjoy stitching out - The " Vintage Lace" collections are authentic freestanding Schiffli Lace designs that were created over 4 decades ago - seem's they have saved some wonderful old time lace designs from before there were computerize machines to stitch them out - what a great idea to save them and allow us all to stitch out such fine LACE on our home embroidery machines.

Hi Shirlene,

I'm sewing out his Vintage Lace designs as I write this to you - it's 10.00pm Tuesday evening 5th October. I am making the Waterfall lace sachet and it's beautiful!

I do understand Kerry - Hehehe!

Chris, you sure do know your lace - don't you?

shirlener88 by shirlener88 05 Oct 2010

Kerry - you can also buy just one design - if that helps?

Good news for all you lucky ladies. I mentioned before that our currency is not that strong against the dollar, pound or Australian pound. To buy $ wise we have to pay just over R7.00, pound just over R11 and Aust pound I think about R9(same for Euro)Most of the time we(I) just admire. Enjoy you design shopping

I am generally quite grateful with the designs I have now. Besides it would be a daunting task to choose just one. Hope you can make peace with yourself about what is making you sad. My blessings to you.

I looked over the comments and sites that others have mentioned and they are all great. I personally like the towel holder designs that smartneedle.com has, from fruit to sports balls, girl designs, kitchen and animals. They had a new line of designs for summer and bath time that are just adorable.

Interesting question. After thinking about it, I could nots settle for just 1. I would look for sales or try to find a way to get the most for my money by buying a membership. Have fun and hope that you get the best design.

Sorry Kez, I just couldn't choose one to buy because the one I want most I will have to digitise myself.
It's the last photograph ever taken of my Mum and Dad together before he passed. I did it several times, about 18 months ago, but I was never happy with it so I will wait until my skills improve before I try again. :-)

Good luck in your search.
If I were to have to choose, it would have to be a Geisha from Advanced Embroidery designs or one of the beautiful panels of Geishas, or any of the gorgeous panels from BFC
Dream on...........
Hugs n roses, Meganne

OK........ go and look at ... http://www.bfc-creations.com/Desi...

There you'll see the beautiful 'picture designs'. These are my ultimate goal - just about any of them will do me - and if spending is your aim then this is the place to do it. All the designs are superbly digitisied.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been feeling sad but if you do spend a few moments in this site your spirits will soar with the beauty of the designs.

Sorry to hear you've been sad and perhaps a new design will lift your spirits at least I certainly hope so. Can't help you with one particular design though as there are so many beautiful ones available. Good luck trying to pick that special one. Have a blessed day.

Sorry, I am a little sad I have no current wish list. So in a round about way it looks like I should be looking at Australian sites as the Aus $ is in my favour at the moment. The USA $ is good for me to get from at the moment. PS wont tell the hubby about your intended purchase BUT enjoy whatever you get *2U

It depends where you want to use this design. The hard part of the question is "just one". I have so many on my wishlist I could not possibly pick just one.

I know what you are saying, I have made a few purchases that I have been putting off for a while because of the great value at the moment. So I won't direct you to my site as all of my prices are in the Aussie dollar.lol.
