Thank you to everyone for all this wonderful help.
I decided to use the pocket topper design in WWW.DESIGNSBYJUJU.COM.
It has two tools peeking from the pocket which is attached ITH after the tools have been stitched out.
All the other information has been carefully downloaded and stored away because I'm sure that I'll be using the designs in the near future.

I am pretty sure I just came across what you are looking for. They are on the aguasanta website. I am sorry, I did not make note of the page
Thank you. I'll have a hunt in aguasanta's website. I've used a pocket toppper design from DesignsbyJuJu but I'll collect any tool designs for future use.

AlmaG did you ever find the site you were searching for? I hope! Kathy
Hi Kathy - Thanks for your interest. I'm pretty sure it was part of DesignsbyJuJu's tools designs. I'm using her pocket topper with the two little tools poking out of the pocket and the stitching to attach a pocket included in the design.

Now you should make him a carpenders apron with pockets for his Tools!!! hugs, Judy
There are a ton of free tools here, maybe you can work something out.

Also in designs by cuties there are some tools and nails all separate.
Thank you, and I found that I did have the buzztools designs but hadn't unzipped them yet. I just wanted the little kids' cute stubby tools which would be perfect to go with the print on the fabric for the shorts.

Thank you for posting this link. I saw this site but this little grandson moved on from Bob the Builder two years ago. I really only want the little stubby tools.

Not Free unless you're a member but cute as!!!
Hi Meganne - Thank you. I'm a member at ATW and I have these sets now.
I'll use designs from ATW if I can't find the little set of four, which I think came from Juju Designs but are now offered only in the big construction set. At least the Juju Designs are the nearest to what I can remember.

Hello! It's not from Artistic Thread works is it? They changed the site a little while ago and you could get sets for free now it looks like as a guest you cna get a sample of free sets. You probably need to become a memeber or something. Sorry if this sounds vague. Hope you find what you're looking for anyway!
Kathy
you can become a guestmember just for the freebee. like subscribe at yahoo. Yvonne
Hi Kathy - I've been a member at ATW for a long time and I've got the tools sets but you know how it is when you have seen the 'perfect design' and it has slipped through your fingers, just a day or so before.
AlmaG.
Yes AlmaG I know what you mean, and what I was GOING to suggest the other day was that you shoud just KEEP ON DOWNLOADING the freebies because you "Just Never Know When You Might Need" them. HE HE HE
Oh wow it doesn't look like you've found them yet!??! Hope you do SOON!
Kathy
I just went to the purple hat and at the bottom of the page there was a hammer and a saw. Click on samples on left side of page towards the bottom. Good luck again. Dawn

Thank you for this lead and I'm glad you let me know about this set. I've downloaded the hammer and saw but this isn't the set I'm hunting for. However, I'm certain it will come in handy. It looks like it comes from a set named JustForBoys and it's no. 01, but I can't find that set anywhere on the purplehat website or in Secrets of Embroidery.
Alma.
I have the Just for boys tool set. But I still can't remember where I got it. I kmow it was free but I got it somewhere else than secrets of. If I remmeber I will get in touch.
Check out this site. I downloaded the cutes tool set. They are free. I can't remember when so I hope they are still available. Good Luck Dawn

Thank you for this information. The set of four tools, hammer, pliers, screwdriver and spanner, in the Construction Set is exactly what I was looking for. I can't pay that much, though, at present. I wonder if that little set of four was on the freebie's list a couple of days ago.
I did get the What's In Your Pocket Applique and I think I'll do something with this - not sure what yet.
Alma.
Alma, I went back 5 pages, but didn't see anything, but I do remember seeing them too.
Thank you so much. I've just been through the pages again and now I'm into the search mode. If you do see them again please PM me with the link.
I have an entire regiment of dinosaurs for this same boy but no little boy woodworking tools.
I do have a couple of excellent sets of single tools for men from BuzzTools but these aren't appropriate.
Alma.
I believe they call that Murphy's Law Alma. I hope you can find the design again.
