Hi, Sanjoy, I have the Innovis 4000 and would gladly buy it again. The hoops are very big 12 x 7 and down. I am very careful with the large ones, I don't want to rack them and break them. They are no any more fragile than the ones with my other brand machine, just big. The machine and software weren't cheap and I am on a budget. Just can't replace one now if I break it. Go to a dealer and check it out for your self. It has all kinds of excellent features. Here's a great link for you. http://www.brother-usa.com/HomeSe... and here is the hoop I was talking about. http://www.brother-usa.com/HomeSe... I lot of my problems have been to my type A personality and me just jumping into things. I learn a lot but have bumped my head a few times too. Happy New Year, Freida A

sanjoy, You may want to go to the "my embroidery machine" on the home page and read what some of the members have said about this machine. I found that to be a helpful area. ;)

Thanks jrob I forgot about that page. It is hard to know which machine is good and one that does all that you want it to do.
