Todays plan: tidy up studio finish towels for customer and do book keeping. Action strategy: turn off computer and get out of my pajamas.

I got dressed this morning too, haha. The problem with me is that I then also have to put my contact lenses in which in turn means that I have to wear reading glasses and on and on it goes. Still think it is easier to be half blind and in my PJ's - do NOT miss that tight bra either !!

The reason that I have to put contact lenses in is that I have gone out three times this year with my blouse inside out. Not one person has said a word. Found it that way when I got undressed again. Okay, dark blouses, half blind and poor lighting in bedroom - but you still feel like an idiot.

You don't have to be half blind to put your blouse on inside out. lol

There is nothing quite like getting that bra off and putting PJ's on.

I am very sure I do not put you to shame, I have noticed that if I put my plan on cute in the morning I get it accomplished, probably because all of the cuties inspire me with their comments.

It is still really wet and miserable on the East coast of Australia.

I stole the idea of jammy day from my dear grandson. When it's raining ( which is almost every day lately)and I have no place to go that day, I'll have a jammy day and when I do I have the feeling I just skipped school! lol I love those days! Maurice is always one to say, you're home, get comfortable!
If I did all you managed to get done in one day, I'd be ready for a nap! Actually, I often get more done on jammy days! The only down side to them is having to take the dog out! heehee

interesting that it is raining all the time in NY, cause it has rained for about 2 weeks in south east Queensland now. we are getting waterlogged over here.

I did it, I got the studio tidied, finished the towels, did the filing and book keeping, vacuumed and mopped the floors washed and dried the laundry and dinner is all prepared and ready to go. Now I am going to join my husband out in the shed (blokes world) for a beer and some horse racing.

Oh - so you got out of your PJ's, too?

fannyfurkin by fannyfurkin 09 Oct 2010

Yes that was the first thing I did. The rest fell into place after that.

we should make a very special design for pyjamas - nobody will come to the idea it will be a PJ??

My DH is a nice one - he says - if you feel comfort - stay in it - better a smile in a pyjama than an uncomfortable "I did it for you, did you see it".

MY DH is more likely to say, "when are you getting out of your pj's?" and "have you combed your hair today?"

this is what Australia looks like today, no wonder I don't want to get out of my pjs.

Alice, I'm with you still in jamas. Such a horrible day in brissy. At least for the moment the rain has stopped. Keep up the good work, I have plans today but cannot make my fingers turn off the computer, just another 15mins ok...Sally

Good morning Fanny,

I've been up since 7.00am (slept in!). I'm usually up and showered, blow dried the hair and makeup on every morning by 7.00. It's pouring rain here in Newcastle at the moment and a great welcome it is too.

I'm just about to have breakfast.

Our son Ben has arrived for some one-on-one tutoring from his Dad. He is Ben's teacher at TAFE for a course he is doing.

I want to get cracking with those lace sachets. I couldn't find any rose pot pourri yesterday, so I'm going shopping as soon as it's 9.00am. Wish me luck!

Anyway - good on you for all your plans for today - I hope Brisbane is having finer weather. Love and blessings Chris.

You mean we are suppose to get dressed everyday? LOL, just kidding, I am usually ready for the day within an hour or so. Never know when hubby is going to say we should go to a movie or shopping.

And you may also have a star, even if you do dress everyday.

not sure to understand right - but if I really want to finish something I have to shut down the computer and do it - only that!
Even embroidery - it's so dangerous for me to find this and that, download designs instead of embroider what I have.
Jump out of the PJ - if there would no reason as to open the door - I would like to not change on saturdays.
At least I do - but I don't like.
It's my signal to communicate that I have my time off.

Happy PJ-embroidery-feeling to all of you!!

I feel much better now that you two have said this. Thought I was beginning to turn into a slob :-) Fanny, my lovely lady, I would give you another star if I could and keeponsewing - you've got one.

I think you will find alot of people who struggle to get out of the jammies in the morning, especially if they get involved in other stuff first, and if you don't have to go anywhere it is hard to see the point.

cherylgauteng by cherylgauteng 08 Oct 2010

Beginning to loathe the days when I do have to go out. Much rather be on the computer talking to you lovely ladies than for example trying to explain to a male mechanice that my automatic is REALLY not changing gears like it should !

Hey, unless I have to go somewhere, I stay in my pj's. Most comfortable things I own. hehehehe.

I try not to do that as part of my therapy I have a shower and get into day clothes in the morning, preferably by 8 am. when I first went off work sick I had a day where I stayed in pjs until 4 pm then I had a shower and put fresh pjs on. it was very indulgent.

cherylgauteng by cherylgauteng 08 Oct 2010

I do the latter - too much energy involved first thing in the morning.

cherylgauteng by cherylgauteng 08 Oct 2010

and I also loathe doing excess washing and ironing. My pjs just tumble dry !!
