Stella, you have done a good service. All God wants is to be glorified through it all. Today was our ladies meeting at church and my topic was "These Hands, being useful for God". You are doing what many here do and that is giving back to God. God Bless you and your personal ministry. Hugs, Terre

Most everything I do is given away,I like giving to others as it makes me feel good. When I'm stitching out a design for trial I always keep them and then make into baby or lap quilts. I donate the baby quilts to the children's hospital here and a lap quilt will find it's way to a shut in or taking them to a nursing home. BTW...it is so sad the number of people that are in nursing homes that never get a visit from anyone, of course some never know the difference but a gleam will come to their eye when you bring them a gift or just sit and talk with them.

Most all local police depts are in need of teddy bears or a stuffed toy. This helps them when they take in children from homes, or fires,or a domestic disturbance calls etc.Stella

I can't afford any software either (I was lucky to get some with my machine), but it always suprizes me that some cutie or other comes up with a site for free items I never would have found on my own.
So keep watching the freebie section here - never know when you might find something really useful to you.
I also give away most of what I make. I'm usually doing something for someone else and anything for myself gets put to the back burner.

If you happen to frequent the cosmetic counters at your local dept store, load up on the free samples. These are great when you drop by the local nursing homes.

Stella, keep it up - that is so commendable. Don't you just have such a very special feeling - when you do that?

I just feel good when i do it. Also every time I can afford it I load up on the small jars of peanut butter. Believe it or not it's very much needed at the Food Bank.

Stella, I am so thrilled that you are still kicking high and keep making those cute toys and animals because there are people that are worse off than you and me....I am so thankful. I can't afford the software that most have either, but it doesn't stop me from having fun and doing embroidery until midnight. I have only one life and I will live it to the fullest for my Lord and Savior.....Go for it Girl...
