dancing since age 4, competing against people with no other dance experience? I do not like that, I think is unfear...Some people just don't have a chance, so it should not be a competition, as for me sent a complaing and I am not watching it anymore!!!!! Ok, I feel better....hahahaha...What do you think????

It's unfair--but it is basically the viewer voting. I watch Mondays, but record Tues and watch it in fast motion--sometimes I cheat and check internet to find out who got booted early. Because the show is live, the East coast is 3 hours ahead of us. Bristol has been paired with a creep. What's with him taking off his shirt?

I have enjoyed Jennifer Grey, because I loved her in Dirty Dancing. I play the CD sound track in my car also. The music from that movie was "my" time. Love it. Bristol Palin is so very young. I think she comes across very poised. After all she is competing with adults, actors, tv stars, sports stars etc. I also like Florence Henderson. She is still spunky for her age. Kay

There are also some dedicated dancers who have danced all those years and also need to try for the stars. I say let the best win.
I'm also sorry that there is only one winner.
Enjoy watching!

I love Aussie Dancing with the stars, but because of the voting people who can't dance get a long way through the comp. I don't vote I just watch.

It's in the eyes of the judges. I will never be happy with anything being judged since most can be biased. They say they are not but. . . The day judging is done by computer generated scoring I will be happy. This includes all olympics games where for years, especially the ice skating competitors, have lost points due to the judges. Even with the play back footage things just don't seem fairly scored.

I love the show, and I do think it is an unfair advantage. But Jennifer has had some major health problems that is causing some issues for her. But most of the stars have dance experience of some kind. It is harder for the novices, and ball players I am sure. I suppose the shows goal is to show us ANYONE can dance:) The audience gets to support their favorites as well.

Personally I enjoy the show, yes she has had dance experience but not ballroom and there is a big difference and most have had some dance training if only as toddlers. It's entertaining and no I don't always agree with the judges, that's why I vote. Will continue to watch and cheer them all on.

Living in SA we only get DWTS, months later. Have not seen the one with Jennifer Grey yet. I just love the program - especially the judges!!!

I don't watch it much but I have thought it was unfair too. I have watched her movie Dirty Dancing till I wore out a VHS, bought another, my son got me it on DVD and most recently he bought us a Blue ray (?) DVD player and Netflix for a year and Dirty Dancing on Blue Ray, I love that movie sooooo much! Sorry to go off track there, lol! Yeah, it seems unfair.........

I've been watching DWTS since the beginning. They have always had some that had more dance experience that others. Yes it is a little unfair, however, ALL of them that have had some dance experience have never danced ballroom. It is a totally different style of dance altogether, trust me... I personally thing little Bristol Palin did better than a couple of ppl there, but didn't get a better score. I think the judges are biased but they are the judges and they choose who they want to continue with. I enjoy watching it because I can't dance anymore. Unfortunately I think it will always be this way...:)

that is exactly what though!!! she deserved a better score, they probable don't want people thinking that they are favoring her, but they are hurting her.***

The object here is to go vote for her....the people (us) usually get it right whether the judges do or not. But of course we don't know how to judge ballroom dancing and probably none have ever competed either...lol...well get it right.

Actually my first husband and I competed back in the 70's when we lived in Europe, not professionally but as amatures. We won a few too. But the level they teach them on TV is on a professional level and very difficult.
