Now keep in mind I'm only 30 miles north but I've got my Harley all shined up, my boots dusted off and squeezed into my jeans (barely), hoisted up the boobies and hittin the road. First stop main street, my hubby's annual rocker pin and my to die for chicken. This vendor sells the best chicken every year, some kind of smoked, bbq, spiced wonderment. Anyway should be perfect weather 80's clear and no chance of rain. So I'm off and running, no girlfriend this year just me and Hubby but then that's how it's always been. Vroom Vroom, saddleing up and hitting the road, hope to ride well, stay safe and come back full of grit, grime, exhaust and smiles. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee

TOO MUCH NEGATIVITY, SOUNDS LIKE EVERYONE IS JEALOUS OF THE BIKERS THESE DAYS.

Lucky you, I also had a HD Sportster, but had to sell it a few years back. Riding in Colorado mountains much different than Florida and the bad drivers. Be careful, I heard last night there were 125,000 bikes in Daytona Beach. My son has a RoadKing and goes every year.

Ah I have read your comments on the fun you have had at the Biktoberfest before. It sounds great and would be wonderful to see. Enjoy your special chicken and all of the time you are there

I hope you have a good day - I try to stay away from that area during this time. Have fun, and enjoy your chicken. I am off to a family cook out to celebrate all of the October birtdays that we are having.

Have a wonderful time and ride safe. I miss being able to ride with my hubby. Still have the gear and he still has the bike, but now it is the 71 Mustang that gets the wotkout.

How is hubby getting along? I prefer to handle the 71 Mustang. Getting cold here in Fl. and shopping this afternoon for an electric blanket. Take care. Margie

Karen, I do hope you have a great day of car fumes, dust and dirt, wind blowing in your face, friendly people, good food and a leisure ride back home. I know you and hubby will have a blast! I miss those days but by the time I could afford a big bike instead of just a dirt bike, I was divorced. Of course my X was a wuss. He would crawl up under a shelter everytime it sprinkled when were just out playing on the dirt bikes. He had to have a convincing pep talk from some of his friends to even get him a mile away from the house. I was in for the long haul and into very long hours. We had a 5 yr old when we got them and he grew up riding with me because I had the biggest bike. After the divorce, I bought a big one but finally GAVE it away to get it out of my son's system. He had a need for speed and did not seem to understand how dangerous auto's were when on the highway. I am physically unable to ride now with this awful arthritis but still have the motorcycle class on my D.L. I guess I just hate to accept the fact that I can not hold a bike upright any longer or... just praying for a miracle. My son is married to a very straight lace(almost boring) wonderful lady that brought her whole family into ours 2 yrs ago and now he has taken on her personality for being a homebody. He would rather stay at home and baby sit his step grands(3 of them). He did not get married until he was 41 and settled down. WAY DOWN!
I hope you have a wonderful week-end! Play while you still can.

Wow, sounds like a lot of fun :o)
I always wanted to make the driving license for a bike but never had the money. Maybe in 6 years when I get 50?!?
Like Chris I hope to see many pictures ;-)
