Being a one armed wonder is no fun. Been there, done that. I broke my arm 2 yrs ago (very bad break - near the top of arm and it also did a 180 degree turn), I had 9 screws and a plate and was in a sling for just over 2 months. He'll have to be a little more cautious because with a sling you have more tendency to move your arm that if he'd had a cast he wouldn't be able to do.
Which arm is it? Is he right handed or left?
Happy, Happy and glad to hear all is on the road to recovery. Bet your're glad the surgery is over, the waiting is the hardest part.
Karen, I am glad that you saw the postings and knew that we had the prayer warriors on the alert for your hubby. So sorry that the surgery was more difficult - but with time - this too will heal and please tell him to do whatever the PT suggest - they are not doing it for themselves but for him. We will keep you both in our prayers, dear one.
I will pray for his recovery..I know how it is, I had rotator cuff surgery a few years ago and the therapy is murder..survived it and my shoulder is doing fine now...blessings to both of you.

Sorry dh was so sick after surgery but glad to hear he's better now. Had to laugh when I read the 1-armed wonder part as it made me remember my best friend when she has this surgery....you'll end up being the second arm a lot. Hope he has an easy recovery. Hugs n blessings, Karen

I pray he has a speedy recovery. Take good care of him, and yourself...men can be big babies sometimes. Although, I'm sure your husband isn't one of those.
Hi Karen SO HAPPY to hear he is doing better and starting to eat. That is always a good sign. Being a one armed wonder is amagzing to see how you develope new ways to do what you used to do with that arm. I am sure he will recover quickly with your TLC . Suzanne
Wishing him a speedy recovery, it's tough to get back in the swing of things when you have a part of the body not cooperating! Hope the pain eases soon.
