to stitch a cute turkey on it and guess what happens? The same thing only worse... The tread kept breaking over and over again. I've changed needles, cleaned out casing, still no change. Here is the kicker.... One of the machine operators there, (she teaches the classes), tested my machine and did a 2 dimensional fsl snowflake ornament on the machine w/o any thread breaks and going at the 800 spm. So I called again and I'm to bring it in with the tread samples. He asked if I changed my thread and I told him it does it with all types of thread. I'm starting to wonder if maybe I just got a bad pack of needles? I've gone through three or four, I lost count. They are Schmetz which I've used for years, and they are for embroidery 75/11's I have 9 items I need to get done by this weekend... YIKES! Just thought I'd vent....

Had an idea for you. First of all, are you using embroidery needles? If so and still having trouble, you might try an 80 size because the eye would slightly larger. I switched to titanium a couple of years ago and I like them better. I buy the large eye titanium at www.All Stitch. net

Oh Terre, I feel for you - I just hate it when that happens - I do think that you need to take your machine back - sit with the repairman and have him watch what you do and how you do it - so they know if something isn't working right in the manner that you do things - let them see the needles and the thread.

I wish you luck with getting your items out on time, too.

I will pray for you and your machine.

A good idea. The repairman said they changed the needle so it isn't that. I'm going to try again, before I send it out. I'm heading to the doctor right now for a cordizone shot. My hip is killing me.... :(

Have you pulled all your hair out yet? So sorry to hear this when you have a deadline to meet. Hopefully it is the needles and you get it resolved soon. Hang in there.

Bev, it's close... But I've got so much hair no one can tell the difference. hehehe... I'm calling them in the morning and letting them know about the needles to see if possibly that would be it.

I was so frustrated about my janome and had so many orders from customers that I decided to buy a second machine :o)
She should arrive tomorrow and today I will bring the janome to the post office to send her to the repairshop because there is nothing working with her! Makes trouble after 5-10 stitches: Thread breaks and there are nearly holes in the fabric :o(
Hope your machine likes you more and wanna come home and be a "good girl";o)

I think I would ship via UPS and watch out how it it packed. I do not trust the post office to deliver a letter safely must less a fragile package. Please make sure however you send it to INSURE it for the whole amout of the cost. We have had several Cuties have bad experiences shipping their machines. Good luck! I hope you get everything going great soon.

She is in Germany so the postal system may be different than ours, maybe even better!
