Oh! wow! Deanna you have outdone yourself. It looks fantastic. I know Yoriko will cry with tears of joy when she receives it.
You must organise for us to help pay postage. It's going to cost a lot to post this to Australia. You will need to have it sent registered mail. Let us know how we can send you some money.
Love and blessings Chris
Yippeeee...the top is done...backing is in the wash to help prevent bleeding....then hopefully its on to the quilting time...heres an overview...
Nicely done, Deanna! Thanks for all of your hard work! Yoriko will love and appreciate this!!
ttt Megs sugestion of donating just $2 to help cover the cost is a great idea. So come on cuties lets help out. :)
This is going to cost you an absolute fortune to post!!
We must all contribute toward the cost, even $2 from each of us would help towards the total postage.
It is totally unfair for you to be left to pay it all yourself!!!!
COME ON EVERYONE We can't let Deanna pay for this!
We should all PM Deanna for her Paypal account.
How can we send to Pay Pal? We just need her name right? I want to send some $$ to pay for the costs. IT is soooo beautiful and costs sooo much to make and mail.
Deanna , The Quilt is so beautiful. You have done a wonderful job.You are such a special lady for taking on these large projects.. Thank You, Thank You , Thank You. Love, Nancy

Gee Deanna, this is going to be gorgeous. It looks like a very big quilt. I think you are going to need some assistance with posting it to Australia. The postage will be dear unless you send it by sea mail!!! Love and blessings Chris

You are doing such a beautiful job and you must do it in your own time when you have time and not be under any sort of time limit

Are we going to be doing more blocks soon???
And you are to be at the top of the list with your favourite designs.
Are we going to vote for a Cutie that offers to sew your "Surprise Quilt"???
Love all that you are doing.God Bless You!
From Bev
Deanna, I confess, I am very excited!
Everything is too perfect ... nice design!
Indeed, an angel would look great for the message, but a bouquet of roses would also be elegant!
I agree. The bouquet of roses (red) would tie in with the red quilt fabric and would be symbolic of the flowers we like to give each other here on this site.
Deanna, this is absolutely wonderfull, and I also agree with the Angel.
A beautiful quote from Dilceia Deanna, this is going to be just gorgeous. Congratulations on another job well done.
Love and blessings Chris
it's a beautiful saying. It talks about life and renewing life, just like a butterfly does. What do you think about a butterfly?
hugs Lee
here is the center block...there is room for some sort of large design on right hand side and for the bottom left corner....What do you think would be good choices...ALL SUGGESTIONS TAKEN AND ANY DESIGNS WILL BE LOOKED AT BY ALL...THANKS FOR POSTING YOUR HELP...deanna
Beautiful, Deanna! How about an angel or a celestial star or something on that order? This message is wonderful. Thanks for all you hard work and thoughtfulness! Hugs, Laura*
BEAUTIFUL - I agree with Laura an ANGEL would be very pertinent.
I believe as we are all caring women and men on this site an angel is very appropriate as we all are praying with and over her.
Thanks for this it is a beautiful central block.
Love and blessings Chris
I agree with the angel. I always send my daily blessings to Yoriko too, and she realy loves the Angel blessings. But I do know she loves buterflies as well.
This is beautiful.....I agree an angel would be nice and perhaps a small dove on the other side (dove for Gods peace....can't wait to see the finished quilt.....Janet
Stunning, beautiful, thoughtful....
I think Yoriko would love an angel and a butterfly, too.
AlmaG.
Thank you so much for listening with your heart! You have chosen a beautiful center with a perfect message. This quilt, left in your hands, will show our love and respect for Yoriko and her wonderful work also. Thanks Deanna!
Deanna, as usual, your personal touches are going to complete the quilt in beauty and make it another wonderful gift from the heart(s)of all of us. On another subject...with the weather reports this morning, I do hope that you are not included in the 1st blizzard of the season! Just listening to the weather report, sounds like it is going to be dangerous with snow, ice and very strong winds. It does seem a bit early in the season to have such a bad storm front across the USA! Keep us posted. Also, just a reminder..If you need anything else for this labor of love DO let us know. Do not mind asking because only you know what you are going to need to finish this quilt and to get it mailed to Australia. It sure is looking great and the work has just begun!
Fantastic job as always Deanna, thank you for all your hard work...hugs x0x0x0
I am speachless - and this NEVER happends - what an amazing quilt this is going to be!
It is such a labour of love and caring.
i wish that each one of us could get one to hug in times of need - sure would keep us "warm with love"!
Thank you so much for all your hard work and effort.
Well done!
LOL Fiona
ooops, I forgot to tell you that you can contact me by mail (in my profil) or by PM
Thanks
Hi Camylow, I would enjoy to participate for Yoriko... I am sorry but as I am not a lot on the forum these past weeks because of personal problems, I didn't see this project idea. Is-it too late ???
Hugs
Deanna the center is beautiful alpha's. Are they ones that you have on your machine? H&*
Deanna, I just can't wait to see this quilt! When do you have the time with building your fabulous studio too. You, my dear are AMAZING!!! Hugs, T
This is the center main block being done right now....as soon as this is finished I will be able to continue on with the remaining blocks...since those are 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 whereas the ones already done are 6x6, they will be done in a slightly different style of block....I needed this center block done so I could start laying out and planning on how they would fit together before I progressed on....so if you do not see your block at this time...I will be getting to them soon...thanks for your patience....
THIS IS A SAYING FROM DILCEIA AND IS A BEAUTIFUL ONE THAT WOULD BE SO LOVELY FOR YORIKO AS A BEAUTIFUL REMINDER OF LIFE AND LOVE....deanna
Dear camylow, I have not yet see in set 1,2,3 the block that I had sent to you for yoriko, I think that you will use it for the set 4.
All that you show here seems to give a marvelous quilt
Hugs
Claude
You are an amazing woman! The blocks are beautiful!
Blessings,
Diane
Deanna, you do realize that you have a repeat in the second set of sections, 3 and 4. They are positioned differently but the same 4 designs.... Do you need some more designs for it to equal out to what you are planning? I am sure some of us would be glad to do another design..especially for Yoriko! I do agree with Chris about the postage from the Us to Australia for such a heavy item. Please do let us know if we sent enough to take care of it. You are already doing the bulk of the work and we would hate to think that we did not send enough to cover the postage and all that you supplied also! This is a very time consuming project and alot of hard work for you to assemble the quilt and do the finishing work. Please let us know if you need some more money so the bulk of it DOES NOT have to come out of your budget! Do not be ashamed to let us know what you need so it will not cost you a penny out of your budget. We should be paying you for your time and efforts also, although it is a gift of love from all of us, you are the one doing all of the long hours putting it together. I could have offered to help you but no one would have like it at all because that is something I have never even been interested in learning to do. That is a challenge that I have no interest in at all!!!!!!! You have a full schedule with all the other good things you have chosen to do. You are like a fairy god-mother to alot of children of all ages along with taking care of your family at home and your family at Cute. We do not want you to think we are taking advantage of your wonderful talent or taking time away from your family without compensating you for being so good natured and free with your time. Remember, time is something we can not get back once it is gone. I hope your life will very blessed because of your loving and giving nature but blessing do not feed and clothe your extended family. Your time is valuable to you as well as to others!
Fantastic... if it wasn't for all the individual names one would think this quilt was done by only one person....it's really going to be gorgeous...hummm,maybe I should change my name to Yoriko. Deanna you are a very special person and I think you do bring out the best in us. Hugs, Karen
Yoriko is moving to my place so just send the quilt here when it's finished, OK?
OH, All right, she isn't moving here.
But who wouldn't want to have such a beautiful work of art?
The more I look at it and see all the gorgeous designs, and feel the love from the Cuties who have contributed, the more the tears well up in my eyes as I think of how our sweet Yoriko will feel when she receives it. It could not happen to a nicer person.
And Deanna, I think the next one made should be for YOU!
You are truly an Angel amongst us, sent to inspire us all to do great things and be more thoughtful and caring to others. Love you Girl.
Hugs and love, Meganne
They're looking great Deanna. Looking forward to seeing mine in there too.
It's amazing that all these designs look like they are from one person stitching. They colors all work really well together. You are doing a wonderful job coordinating it all. Thanks you for all your hard work. Hugs, Terre

Lena Mae
Dear Deanna,
There are 48 so far - how many more are you expecting? This is going to be a good sized quilt - would you like some money for posting this as it's going to cost a fortune to send it to Australia, unless you send it sea mail!!!?
Please let us know and maybe we can organise a fund for this.
Love and blessings Chris
