in the past and they were fine but on reading on this site, some people say their thread can be good or bad....varies from cone to cone.

Please give me your opinions.
Thank you all in advance.

It depends on your machine. I use isocord but I have a Babylock. What does your book or dealer reccomend for you machine? Suzanne

I have a Babylock but I have never noticed they recommend any brand of thread in their manual.

I think a lot of it depends on your machine. I use Metro with no problems. My machine does not like Sulky or Maderia they break, break break with me, yet my daughter has the very same machine I do, we use the same needles, everything & she has no problems with the threads I cannot use. Makes you wonder doesn't it. Each machine has a mind of it's own.

I have several different kinds my favorite being R/A from shoppers rule the cost and shipping is very reasonable. I ship to Ont, Cananda. I also use thread art I like it as well also get stabalizer from them. I do have some from sick and also get stab from them comes very quickly. Others I have are Gamut, Marathon and gutterman. I believe we all have some type of thread our machines do not like mine does not like brother. I have not tried Metro as they will only ship full sets to Canada unless that has changed recently. Hope this is helpful.

I am so glad you asked this question, I have been trying to work out the best place to get some large sets of threads. I live in Australia. Is there a weblink where you can order the metro threads? Or is there an Aussie cute who has a better idea.

I have bought from thredathread in brisbane and love the quality, but this shipment was at an amazing price with our dollar so high against the US one

I am one that sings the praises of the Metro. I bought all 166 colors and a gross of prewounds and I LOVE them. I will use them again.

I use both Metro and SiCK threads and they stitch out beautifully. I've ordered the king size and the large cones and there's no difference in the thread quality. The price is nice and the colors and sheen are lovely. I've haven't had any problems. Any thread breaks are user error. LOL

Well, I certainly didn't have any problems with the large cones I bought and I used them for FSL items also.

Not sure where you are from but I know that some have bought Metro and speak very highly of them. I have thought about getting some but the post to the UK puts me off... My closet Cutie friend bought some of the SICK threads and is very happy with them - again post puts me off. One day if I get to the USA I will buy some threads.

I am in the U.S. I just hate spending a bunch and then having it not be good. But, I'm cheap, so I don't want to spend more than I need to!

I would go with Metro. I've neveer had a problem with their thread.
