I love embroidery on my jeans but I haven't tried it yet cause I know it is a hassle to get up into the leg and I like it on the side of the legs. I am short and my pants are usually too long!

Great job!!! On of these days, I am going to get the nerve to take jeans leg apart and embellish jeans like the designer ones. Is that red work design you used?

Are you sewing the design on the bottom of the pant or at the thigh area?

The side seam is ripped opened, the design sewn and then you sew it back together.

I need to know too, I have jeans that are dying to make a statement but I don't know how to get up into the legs and don't really want to tear them apart!

Usually the inner seam is a whole lot easier to open (& close again) than the outer one which is usually topstitched. Give it a go & you may be surprised! Near the hem would also be easier than going further up.
