I have been so busy stitching In the Hoop designs for my g/daughters Christmas Fair I have neglected my hoops! Even Baby Wipes won't clean off the sticky left overs. Any ideas please?

I use Goo-gone and then carefully wash the hoops in soapy water to get rid of the residue. It works well and quickly.

Save the used dryersheets then use Goo Gone. That way you don't wasre paper towels either. Stella

I have used goo gone but I find that soaking it in hot water with "Dawn" dishwashing liquid works really well too. I just fill up a pan with with water and add some Dawn and let it soak then wipe it down with a wash cloth and rinse.

I would use peanut butter. I have gotten every label and glue residue off that way. Leave on a thin layer oover night. Rinse off the next day. It's cheaper than Goo Gone. Don't forget to lick your fingers. :-)

I use a product called Goo Gone. Goo gone gets rid of sticky spots and stains almost effortlessly like grease, gum, stickers, crayons, tape, lipstick, scuff marks and grease.. It combines orange oils and other ingredients to eliminate the toughest grime on almost any surface. Have purchased it for $1.00 at Dollar Tree, and a bit more at Wal-Mart and the Drug Stores.

I use Goo Gone too. It also comes in a spray pump bottle, not aerosol.

You can buy sticky remover stuff, there is a bunch of different ones here, Eucalyptus oil is good, or baby oil or bath oil. if you have Avon skin so soft bath oil that will work. The general idea is something oily. Even olive oil will have some effect.

Hi over here in Australia we practically always use Eucalyptus Oil - it removes anything "sticky".

As Beth says it is great to use for allergies. You can use it in your hudmidifier and you can breathe clearly all night or day for that fact.

Love Chris

Also removes chewing gum, candle wax, pencil marks, grease and much more.

I use 'sticky stuff remover' (only because DH is an engineer and it is part of the tool kit). You might find that WD40 works - it is incredible..

A 'cutie" (sorry forgotten who it was) posted that she uses - Eucalyptus Oil
Well I used it the last time I cleaned my hoops, it worked well. Ensure that you do it outside because of the smell. hugs Yvonne
