Ohh-la-la...I can't wait to see this fantastic project. Perhaps you'll enter her in some contests and win again. You are certainly gifted to undertake such a task. Kudos to you. The countdown until the unveiling...LOL! ~Rita
What kind of dog will her dog be? It might help with name inspiration.
I don't know yet. I created one that looks a little like a mutt. But leaning toward a curly tail dog similar to what my akita use to look like. And I don't want to use his name. All suggestions are welcome. I do know he will be a big dog. At least fit a 5x7 hoop.

Wow!!!I admire your quest, and I'm looking forward to seeing pictures.....enjoy and take your time.....blessings Janet
After spending the last nine hours working out design patterns. I have her face digitize. Test samples of her clothing and skin stitch out. Her panties have been design. Her size draw up, she will be about 24 inches tall. Now all I have to do is get her body and clothing design. I am just a little intimated about how long it is going to take to stitch her out. Thanks for the encouragement. I will keep everyone posted on her progress.

Great challenge for yourself - I hope to be seeing Annie Mae Sunshine soon, too.
Sounds like wonderful project. The idea fascinates me and, having seen some of the wonderful creations made by digitisers, I now believe that anything is possible.
I love the doll's name... Annie Mae Sunshine.
I'll be following your progress all the way.
It's an exciting path into the New Year.... Sewinhuggs AMS Doll Project ....

What a goal this is! It will be interesting to see what you come up with. As I's sitting here thinking about the size, I'm if you are going to do buttons and buttonholes to make Annie Mae be able to move.
Just "thinking out loud".....
I haven't decided how I am going to do her dress yet. I do know she will have posable hands and arms. I am going to try to make her stand on her own without a doll stand. Today is create a face day and to test out lace patterns for her skin and clothes.

OOH That sounds so pretty. Better than the plain little dolls I make.Looking fwd to Ms Annie.
I hate plain dolls. I will say my cloth dolls look like small children. So I know her and her friend will be a long way from plain. Thanks

I wish you luck, My goodness that is a challenge. Hope you post your dolly up in projects for all to see your lovely work :)
Wow, that will be quite a project. Good luck. And to do all that during the Christmas sewing season- amazing
I think it is great to challenge yourself. When you put it in writing it gives you that extra nudge to keep going until finished, Is anyone else up for a challenge? It could be a personal challenge or group? Anyone have any ideas. I'm up for a challenge also. Can't wait to meet Annie Mae!
You are right, that is why I did what I did here. As I write, I am printing out my graph paper to draw my designs on. The part I am not looking forward to is since moving I can't find my old doll patterns that I created years ago. So I am going to be making two dolls, one in cloth and one in lace. That way I will get her right the first time.
