Hello all, THANK YOU for all your help and I found my problem! I had changed the hoop size to add patterns to my PED card but my sisters machine only makes 4x4 designs. I corrected the hoop size and added several 4x4 patterns and the machine accepted the card and showed the patterns. Problem solved!!
AGAIN many thanks for all your help.... *'s 4 all

Let me know if you solve this! I bought several Peanuts embroidery cards at a great price on EBAY.I got the same message on one of them.I had not even placed the hoop in. Took it to the Babylock dealer and it worked in hers. We never solved the problem.

I use Palette software & when I upgraded the software on the computer the card would work just fine except when I put it in the emb. machine. I got the same message. It works fine if I take the designs off the other computer with the older version of Palette. So maybe that is your problem. Hope this helps you.

Great question! It's good to know that others have had problems that are the same and can share in fixing them.

Thank you for asking this question, I have not had this happen yet but I am sure eventually it will and you just saved me probably a lot of worry!

I see you got your answer. I had this happen to me when I changed the size of the designs also. I went to my dealer to try to buy another card, thinking mine had gone bad. Before I ordered the new card, I was triyng it again and realized that I had changed the size. Glad I didn't spend the money for a new card, although it would come in ahndy sometimes. Joyce

I had the same problem in my case was the hoop size, my card does not work when i have 4x4 and 5x7 and it does not recognize larger hoops, check your designs hoop size. Hope you can solve the problem

I have had that happen. My problem was that I was trying to use a design that was too large. My machine will handle designs no larger that 5x7, even though I have a larger hoop. It can be very frustration, but can't afford to buy a machine that will handle larger designs.

Have you checked the format or version of the design/s and hoop size.
Please let us know if you do find your problem.
What machine do you have and other info?
Hope you get it resolved

Make sure you have the correct hoop size in the box for your machine when you add the designs to the card, you get this message if hoop size wrong

if I add a pattern that uses more memory than the machine has you may get that statement try clearing the card and place a small design in and see if it will read it and then if that works try just the one design at a time some of the high stitch counts will not read in my pe 150 but will read with flash drive in my pe 780 D but will not work on my card if the size of the design in not the size of the setting on the machine will cause problems hope this helps
