I made 50 of these FSL stars. The tree is decorated with white organza, then I added the stars, gold bows and strings of silver beads. The teddy bears are 'helping' to put the stars up - they're a little bit slow though!!!

Just gorgeous, Ruthie, how imaginative! I'd love to do something like this, but with 6 cats, well... I have to hang ornaments from the ceiling. How tall is the tree? Marji

I know what you mean about the cats - we had a dog that ate all the chocolates off the lower branches of the tree one year! This tree is only about 6 feet tall. I thought it was a bit too ambitious to make them for the tall tree - but I'm working up to that one - 8 feet tall.

I must try to find this design and add to my collection. I purchased an ornament pkg from Embroidery Library last year. My tree was mostly decorated with FSL ornaments also. Thanks

Bowlinggrama, thanks, and the design was a freebie from Stitch Delight. If you go to the Secrets of Embroidery site (www.secretsof.com), find their ‘list of designers’ page, click on ‘Stitch Delight’, then go to her ‘Christmas Lace’ page, scroll to the bottom and you should find it. While there check out her other designs, she has some good ones. It’s a beautiful design to stitch out, happy star making.
