I have the Digitizer 10000-1.3V but have never been able to set it up-even with update pkgs.-it has never been compatible with my Vista 64 bit laptop. So I was informed by Janome forum that I could get the upgrade MB 3.0 for $500,rather that the full $1499 because I already have to dongle. It's still alot of money but I can write some of it off as a business expense-I wonder if it'll take me 2 yrs to figure this one out too(still haven't even touched on what my customizer 100000 can do)

Hope you have a lot of fun getting things figured out. I got the Digitizer Jr. with my Janome, but haven't used it to digitize - just using it to unzip files so far. Gonna take a bit to get brave and do the rest.
I like your hubby's attitude to go for it cause you deserve it for all the hours you spend doing for others.
Good luck!

Thanks-ya, I don't know how quik I will be to jump into digitizing but i am excited to be able to play with a new toy-I am sure I will be hesitant at doing some things but I am sure going to try-my husband seems to think he is going to start learning to do stuff with it.....hmmmmm-I dunno- I don't like anyone in my "zone" touching my "stuff" lol Sorry ladies, does that make me selfish and bratty????LOL

Enjoy your new software. I'm sure you'll figure it out. I haven't attempted digitizing, someday maybe, but I enjoy what I do. Arlene

I have digitiserMB and it is an awesome piece of software. I also got a free disc with embroidery machine magazine on how to use some of the features. There are quite a few short lessons on utube. Helen

Thanks Marg-it does, doesn't it.I am sure tho, that before I leave the shop that day it'll be a little more than that-can't just walk past all the goodies without picking up more "must haves" and "I wants". Besides, my husband said go for it, for all the hours I put in at the machines sewing for others-I deserve it

$500. seems to be the going price. Thats what I paid for the new update. You should get a new dongle with it. The old one will be of no use, (only for the old program). I put the old program on my laptop that I use in the family room so I can work in the evening. I just save the designs and then open them in the new program on my computor in my sewing room. Good luck with the new program,it has some nice features. Hugs Lynn.

Yes-I will be getting the new dongle-I will take the old one when I go have the program installed. My laptop is actually the only computer in the house at the present time-our family desk top Dell fried this summer, so I have never been able to run the old program because of the non support. We are planning on getting a mac for x-mas-then maybe my husband won't have to keep using my laptop so much-I hate it when he takes it out of my sewing room-even when I am not using it. I am excited to get set up on the program tho-you may be hearing from me if I get messed up with it lol.
