she invited four other ladies that do embroidery work and we sat around her kitchen table and did show and tell and shared on embroidery work for several hours - I had a ball. Terri is a great host - she had a light lunch for us - as we arrived. Each of the ladies had an idea of what they wanted from the gathering in the future and we will travel to each other's homes during the next couple months - each time - the person hosting will share a project or idea with each of the others and we will learn from each other about our embroidery. I was able to stitch out a couple items that I gave to each of the ladies and they seems to enjoy that idea - so we are each going to bring a small gift of embroidery or a craft for each other with each of our gatherings. Rick stayed home by himself - well stocked for any of his needs and he called me a couple times during the gathering, but that was fine this time. When I got home - he was hungry - he didn't use any of the stocked goods I made for him. I guess he isn't that comfortable putting something together on his own, yet. I had one of the other ladies take a picture of Terri and me and I will share that with you in a minute. Terri's husband took a picture or two of all of us - I don't know if she got the ok to share that on CUTE or not - so we will see on that, later on. Perhaps we will have some new members soon on CUTE, too. Hehehe!

Marietta, it has been a blessing - I have to say that - we will try to model ourselves after the 'Cape Town Cuties' and enjoy ourselves, too.

As for Rick I have the same problem so unless I have someone near to look in on my hubby it's just understood we are a package deal & he comes along with me. He's usually comfortable sitting & watching TV or sitting outside watching the world go by.(LOL) It's just something you adapt to finally . To go or not to go that is always the question around here. With the mobility scooter he gets around well outside. He can walk just cannot stay on his feet but a few mins at a time. Anyway go whenever you can, it's good for you.

Thanks Miss Lillian - I thouht it was funny - that he called so much and then - he didn't eat anything while I was gone - but he did fine on his own - he thought it was great for me to get out, too.

Yvonne, we don't already have the built in 'CUTIES' as you did - when you started to gather up the 'Cape Town Cuties' - but we might end up with our own version - if they come to CUTE and get to know all of you - wouldn't that be great? Thanks dear.

Kim, thanks - glad we were doing what we were and not what you were - Hehehe! I wasn't totally comfortable in leaving Rick at home - but he said he could manage and I did leave him supplies - he just choose not to get into them - it was good for him, too. He got some exercises done while I was away.

Karen, thanks dear - it was good for my soul for sure. Rick did fine - he said he did some exercises while I was gone - with an arm pulley and the cardio glide that Terri has lent him - I am sure his time doing those things were so much better than if he had gotten into the supplies I made for him. He had a good dinner once I got home and made it, too.

Debra, it has been a long while for me - before twee (Terri) but now I have her and she has brought in some friends that she knows - I do hope that they end up joining us on CUTE, too. AND ees, I love pictures, too.

Dilcia, thank you - the subject mostly embroidery - anything to do with crafts - I am sure could be covered. Some of the others also do alot of sewing and quilting and digitizing, too.

Meg, it ws fun - you were there in spirit - as I mentioned some of the CUTE members from around the world - Terre told them that she was able to meet you on her visit to AUS - so we had you there for a short visit - Hehehe!
I hope that many others are able to do this sort of thing - with other in the CUTE family - if not just ladies that they know that love embroidery.
