What a lot of work! Well done! I'll wait for your GD's picture wearing it!***
This costume will certainly be noticed-great job;love halloween. Please post picture of her if you can.TU
I hope you daughter takes pictures too - and you can let us see how the GD looks as Bride of Frakenstein. That was quite an undertaking.
That is a great outfit. Hopefully your daughter will take pictures. Please post them when you get them. Love to see your granddaughter in the finished outfit.
I can see why you were having a hard time. Alot of material and slick! I know she will love it! I think you get the "Best Granny" award on this one! Job well done! Kay, thanks for sharing! If there is a prize for best costume, this should be it!
Oh, Linda, my granddaughter thinks she is going to win 1 st prize and I reminded her of last year. I made another elaborate dress and the kid who won had a painted cardboard box. My costumes look so good that the judges think they are bought. She answered me back that she would tell them that her grandmother made it.
Katy, you make a beautiful costume. I think your granddaughter is so happy.*********
Kay, this is lovely - if I my Mother made this for my daughter and I didn't take a picture of her in it - I think I would have been disowned - I hope she takes a picture, too - I would love to see her in it and see the finished project.
sorry about my words being jumbled around about - my fingers try to type differently than my mind thinks.
Perhaps, I should have said that I hope she e-mails me the photos. I am sure she will take some. One of my favorite gifts each Christmas is a calendar with photos of the granddaughters each month. I keep it in my bathroom where I can look at it each day. because she knows that she will make the calendar, she doesn't always share pictures ahead of time. Kay
Would love to see it on...it looks like you did a great job
