36Here's flowers for everybody for trying to help. You gals learned German fast, I see you told her it was 'verboten'. I learned all my German from old WWII movies, so I'm not much help. Thanks enough for caring to try.

German used to be obligatory at school. Watch a lot of German crime series. So understanding and reading is no problem. But I must admit speaking it is a different matter.

I took many years of Spanish, Mops, and that's sure true. Slang is the hardest. Was with a group of nuns once, one was trying to say the other sister was 'embarassed' (over her poor Spanish), but instead accidentally said the nun was 'very pregnant'. Took a bit to clear that up... language can be tricky, & funny.
