my "time-mismanagment" get's out of controll ;o)

Is this forum created to put some chatting-traffic away from Cute to prevent system-breakdowns? This is in a sense a emboirdery-page for selling designs and memberships; is this other site now our chatroom for sitting there with our cup of coffee?

I agree with the time management problem. It was nice when the other sites went down. I also see that YouEmb Freebies will be a problem soon because there is no index, just one long page like DBC here.

At the moment it seems to be people are posting the same things here as well as there, so that makes it less interesting.

One big advantage is you can make your own group and I intend to upload all my designs there instead of in Designs by Cuties. They are so much easier to find under the designers name and there is no search engine in DbC.
The post are displayed in 'All Topics' and in the separate groups, like the freebie alphabeth under 'Cute Alphabets', but I've seen several posts other than designs by Veronika in there as well, so I wonder if it won't be 'messy' in no time at all.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Nope, not a stupid question Bettina-I agree with the comfort factor of Cute-but "You" sure was nice when our beloved Cute sites were down for what seemed like an eternity(so I exaggerated a bit-LOL). I still pop in and out daily there-to check out designs and collect the letters-sometimes to read postings. I don't spend as much time on any of them though since we were out of commission-for (1)-I was wasting too many productive hours just admiring everyone elses work and not doing my own =O( and keeping up with everybodies daily happenings and (2)got alittle tired of reading certain posters constant "waa-waa" "pity-pot-poor,poor me" submits. I am sure this last part won't sit well with some folks but that's ok-just voicing my opinion. As a whole though-Cute has got to my favorite sites to be at when I am online. Ok-I will step off my soapbox now and hope I haven't made too many enemies =O) ~linda~

Linda you just speak right from my heart. At the moment I have the feeling that some of the new cuties posting about nearly everything (to get flowers?). I don't wanna know when everybody is going to work, bed, toilette.... We are not posting strictly just about embroidery but we don't have to post about every "poop". That are the only one who don't get flowers from me (and I'm regular very generous with them ;o).

LOL-Huggs to you Bettina-I truly did just laugh out loud and I too like to give the flowers to everyone but if I don't give them to someone-I have either accidentally-or on purpose- not done so.~linda~

I love this site also....I don't mind going to another site especially to learn more, but with dial-up I spend way too much time on the internet and don't think I can add to that....I did like that I read a sewing section was added....blessings Janet

Not a stupid question. I do not see any advantage of youembroidery. Most of the cuties are there also, I joined under name of embroideryprincess. I don't have time to go to both, so for the time being I will just stay here. Carol

Sounds like we are in the majority with feeling more comfortable on cute and not understanding the need for youembroidery.

Hihihi, Debra; you said it ;o)
I need so long to understand just half of the tabs and other possibilities (like 10 month to find my firts PMs) that I don't wanna start again from the beginning. I have enough designs in my treasure-box and when I have a desire for freebies there are more posted here than I ever can use :o)

Thanks for asking this question. As I have limited time here and for sewing at the moment I am happy here. I hardly ever look at the freebies here, cannot remember when I went to bookmarks and the reviews. What I would like at the moment is a machine that is not stuck with the dealers AND more time to sew, neither of which will come from the www. I gain a huge amount here and thank all for their great input to makeing Cute what it is. I have just clicked on Cutepersons.com and it says it is created and the real content is coming soon. Or perhaps it has said this for ages

I agree that it can be time consuming, but I still think that there is room for Youembroidery. I will spend less time with the Freebies tab. The freebies tab seems to be more to get flowers than anything. I always see repeats and folks listing sites 1 at a time.

yes it seems to be a problem for some to make more posts in one :(

I have the same question. I am comfortable here and get all the chats, projects, DBC, etc. I can keep up with for now! If Miss Veronika is going to move those parts over to YouEmbroidery that is fine by me - I am just not sure I have enough time for both.

No problem: I have a lot of tea here just for you. Sugar, milk or a twist of lemon ofr you? *lol*
But what is the difference to Cute? Why should I spend my time there and not here? Don't wanna make "page-hooping" and I have to admit that reading every day here is time-consuming (nice one but like all the others: my day has just 24hours even now I'm trained to need just about 3-4 hours of sleep ;o).

I don't think it's a bad thing, it's one click away and you're there. Time will tell, nothing wrong with trying. I like Cute too and it's just a bonus for us to have You Embroidery with it. Just like we have her other 2 sites too. I'll try it our and then make my mind up. But so far it looks good. I think it's more for us. Very thoughtful.

So far the only thing I've been able to do on the new site is read post, give flowers and dl alpha. Looks as though it's going to be a great site though.
