Good luck, hope you get some help as that is a challenge. They are cute and of course theirs nothing better than chocolate to fill them with. *4U and everyone
These look really cute. I was wondering if the ribbon is threaded through the top of each point to keep it closed or just the two opposite sides? Hope you don't have too many still to cut out.
Another question..are you using a wheel to cut them all? I'd imagine that to be quicker than pinking shears/scissors.
NO - these are no in a circle, and I tried using my cutter, but it did not look as good. I almost went out and bought the quilt cutter, but just a little too pricey to get this project done. I have about 1/2 of them cut, but don't want to do many more until I get the actual head count. I ran out of felt, and can not match it - soooo mix and match will have to be good enough.
Yikes is right! My goodness that's a lot. The quicker way you find, the better, I'm thinking. But they look lovely. The felt seems to have a thread running through it. I'm not sure I've seen any like that (unless you made it too, with cast off embroidery thread???). Great job!
yes - the felt has red and green metalic thread through it - but I ran out of that, and can not find any more - But I do have some white with irridescent sparkle threads through it - so we mix and match.
You've got a lot of work ahead of you. Hope you get lots of help. These are nice.
Great little package and it will be so much easier than you making all the others on your embroidery machine. You are a wonderful grandma, too.
I hope he thinks so - I am even filling in for my daughter at the meeting tomorrow - she is in school and could not make the 2:00 PM meeting. I hope we get a good head count.
WOW COUNT ME IN I LEARN FAST & MOVE FASTER lol CAROLYN
Come on in - let me know when you will be here, and I have the spare bed cleared. LOL I have cut our 74 of these, and have to go into town to try to match the felt. If not, we will just have to mix and match best we can.
