You missed a scramble of a mess and lots of frustration.
Welcome back. I've heard that Scottsdale is wonderful.
*4u!
Alma, you have all the answers. You can keep traveling--because our family can always help you when your back to us. H&*
Alma, so glad that we are all back on "cute" * 4 all - hugs Yvonne
Thank you to Everyone who told me what has happened.
Funny thing.... we used to take short trips interstate, in Australia, when we were tutoring and on several occasions msssive disruptions to the localities we visited occurred, e.g. the year the gas station blew up in Victoria and left the state cold and powerless in the middle of winter - not good for travellers seeking motel accommodation, either; and then there were earthquakes, floods and hail storms. Now this!!!!!
I beg my innocence for this latest crisis but, look how strong and resilient you all are... back again, stronger than ever and determined to enjoy this unique site. And, see???........I didn't know a thing about it - OK when I left home and OK when I arrived in my second home here in AZ with my daughter and her family.
Thanks for the tip, irenewayne.....I believe we visited Cave Creek on our last trip here in 2008/9 but I'll tell Sandy about The Buffalo Chip Saloon and the Friday night shindig.
I, too, love the desert.
In a day or two I'll have my own little computer set up here so that I can catch you all online during the day - right now it's 3.3.0 a.m. and I'm sharing a business computer, recovering from awful jetlag that stole one entire day from me and planning my trip to JoAnn's soon after dawn today.
Thank you, Friends, for putting me in the picture...... :} *TAll.
I'm just loving this very, very fast computer and now I see how people can give so many flowers.... it takes me ages to do a decent floral delivery at home.
AlmaG.
Alma, don't run away anymore. You miss too much. Seriously you've gotten answers so you know what happened. We all survived & are none the worse for all the wear & tear on our nerves especially those who are addicted to the cute site. lol aLLS WELL THAT ENDS WELLS
It was like missing a hurricane, you were so lucky. But you may want to sign up at You Embroidery if you didn't already do that. It's on a different server and wasn't affected by the problems. Veronika has started a new free alphabet there and other groups.
See what happens when you leave home. LOL oh well I see you got your answer. so I will just say glad we all can get together on her again.
Almag
You're going to love Arizona. I've made a couple trips there & love it. I am so jealous of you, I have a friend who lives in Cave Creek (not a big town)not far from Scottsdale. If you get a chance go there & visit their shops & have a meal at "The Buffalo Chip Saloon". Go on a Friday night as they have a resident band & dancing. As I said I LOVE the place. LOL.

Looks like you've gotten some good answers...it was tragic but not life threatening, we just thought we'd never get through it though. Guess we all learned what a drug addict goes through when they try to quit. Withdrawals are not a good thing. Have a blessed day and enjoy your trip.
Alma are you sure you didn't pull the plug when you left australia...all of Ms Veronika's sites where down for nearly 2 days we have all had withdrawals..the only site available was the new YouEmbroidery...most of us hung around there from time to time to see what was happening. But everything is back now YAH HOO...
You went away and we just couldn't run the site without you, lol. It was a massive crash, all of Miss Veronika's sites except for the new youembroidery went down and the server didn't have a back up and lost everything. I am shocked that it is complete! All they told her was, "sorry for the inconvenience"!
Debra
well at my house CUTE and all the sister sites were down for 2 3/4 days.....that seemed loooonger than it really was....glad they are back to normal.....
The whole site crashed for a day and a half. They were working around the clock to fix the problem. Thats why everyone is saying good to be back. I live in San Tan Valley close to Queen Creek. Dawn
Well Almag as you were away we closed down for a few days...but now you are back all is normal again. I will let someone else explain
