The Power of One.... but in our case One became Two then the effect just ricoshed to reveal how much love there is on our cute site. If it were not for our 'Leaders' so many of us would not be getting the help they offer.
THANK YOU to all of you, both for the leadership and help we get from each other.
Words can not express how I feel about all the you and Debra and each of the CUTE family members have done - to even think to do this - is amazing - if nothing comes of it - so be it - that will be God's will - the fact that you care enough to even want to do anything is so wonderful. Rick is having some difficulties with his memory and speech - which is a side-effect from the mini stroke more than likely. I am hoping that they get is medicine figured out - to where the possiblity for the seizures are not so likely. My surgeries for my carpal tunnel - have to wait - until he can care for himself again. And the other surgery can not take place as the coverage just isn't available for it to happen. I don't know what will come of this and as I said - it doesn't matter - what counts to me - is that you care enough to try to make something happen. Your love and support and care for us is overwhelming - we adore you all. Terri (twee) called tonight and we talked for a long while - it was so good to have her & her husband visit us in the hospital, too. Just having someone that never knew me a few months ago and now to have her in my life - is so great. She represents all of you - to me - you know??? Now I have my eyes leaking and I can't see to type - so I will say - I love you each and everyone. You are my angels - my friends - my CUTE family.
I have a few tears myself reading your note. I can only hope that Ellen chooses to help you and even if she doesn't we know that we have touched your hearts and you have touched ours.
Thank you Jerri, I was just helping get your idea off the ground. It's been an honor for me to help Shirlene in any way I can. Ellen does help so many people, the show tomorrow is going to have one where the girls sneaks up to the home to surprise someone. Ellen is so funny and I love the games they play, one woman won a car today!
You have done a wonderful job. I am not very good on the computer so I appreciate everything you have done. What a great response we are getting. I only hope we get some results. I really enjoy Ellen. I did watch her today. I literly have tears in my eyes when she helps someone in need. There are so mnay rich people that will never spend their money, why not help someone else. There shouldn't be starving or homeless people.
I live in Canada and at least we get help from the Government with Health and unemployment.
My dream if I was ever to win a lottery, is to buy a big house and have free daycare for single parents that want to better themselves by finding a job, but can't make enough money to pay daycare. I was a single Mom and raised my two kids on my own,so I know how hard it is.
I also thought that I would have elderly people that still have so much to give, come to the house and teach the children allsorts of things. Even reading to the Children. It would give the elderly something to do and the children would learn so much from us older ones.
It is so great to know what a great "family" we have, and how we all come together in times of stress. I have never belonged to such a caring group. Thank YOU for all your inspiration! Everyone needs someone like you to get things going sometimes.
Hugs, Nadyne from B.C.
Hi Chenille:
Yes, this is the best site on the internet. Its the first place I come too when I get home. I just had the idea, but not the know how of how to make it work. That was why I brought it to the Cuties. I knew it was the right place to get it started. Leenova and the others that have written the letter etc. have done a wonderful job. I want to see how many names are on the list when it is sent.
Pretty amazing group we belong to. Its interesting to see all the names and where everyone lives. You say B.C. Is that British Columbia??? I live in Surrey, BC
